Forty Nine offers private luxury accommodation designed for families, couples or small groups, catering for a maximum of 12 people.
Accommodation comprises master king, two king or king twins and a huge bunk room/kids zone with 6 king single beds. Beautifully appointed bathrooms adjoin bedrooms offering heated flooring and towel rails, Hunter Lab amenities, hairdryer and luxurious bed and bath linen.
The formal lounge offers generous lounge seating and features a stunning suspended fireplace; the perfect place to relax and unwind at the end of the day, while the gourmet cook will revel in the kitchen and its stunning picture window view. The only property i have stayed at thay lives up to the photos. Great house, great location, great facilities. Met all of our needs and expectations. We all loved it and had a fantastic time.
This property is stunning and perfect in every way. Great for families, our kids loved it as did we. Fantastic location for skiing, just 20 minutes away. We will definitely be back!

Had an amazing stay at Luisa’s property. Luisa was a wonderful host from the moment we booked, contacting us regularly in the lead up to the stay to make sure we would have everything we need for our holiday. The house had so much space, everything was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was extremely well equipped which made staying at home really enjoyable. Kids had a great time with the games and Christmas tree. Didn’t want to leave and can’t wait to visit again.
Fabulous location close to crackenback farmhouse restaurant, wild Brumby schnapps house, crackenback resort and a short drive to Thredbo. Very well appointed and comfortable accommodation.
We loved 49 Post Office Lane. The location was superb and the house was stunning and well stocked with everything we needed. A highlight was seeing the kangaroos and deer right at our doorstep. A perfect place for a weekend away with friends.
We had a fabulous stay at this property. This property accommodated the needs of our group of two families really well (7 kids in total). It had loads of room so that we weren't on top of each other, a well appointed kitchen, fabulous bunk room and games room and loads of outdoor space for the kids to run around. The kids also loved seeing the kangaroos and deer on the property. This property is in a fabulous location - 20 minutes drive to Thredbo and 15 minutes to Jindabyne. Communicating with the owner was also seemless. This was a fabulous find. Would be back in a heartbeat.
It was an amazing property. Very easy to find because google maps takes you straight to the house. The property was very clean, loaded with all the comforts required such as board games, card games, heating, kitchen utensils, and bathroom amenities. We enjoyed our stay very much and looking forward to coming again next year.
What a wonderful home away from home!! Entertaining was a breeze, kids were always occupied, kitchen fully equipped these are just a few highs of this amazing property. Beds and pillows were high quality and very comfortable, house was immaculately clean and the house was always toasty and warm!
We will be definitely rebooking next year and telling all our friends about it.

I would like to say thank you, we had an amazing little getaway. The house 49 Post Office Lane, was absolutely amazing. From the beginning with the communication, from the booking was just great. Then the house, wow wow wow so beautiful, so clean, and it had everything a home needed and much more. The children were not to be seen, they loved loved the kids bedroom. With all the entertainment they needed - they had a blast. We will definitely staying here again 100%.

This is a beautiful property and the photos just don’t do it justice - my family and I were blown away by the size and luxuriousness when we arrived.
All rooms are properly kitted out, underfloor heating throughout, heated towel rails, plush carpets, huge plush lounges, very comfortable beds (even the bunks!).
On top of that, all of the hidden extras you don’t think of - the kitchen is fully equipped and you could easily cater for a large family, the kids room had all kinds of extras like a wii console, LEGO, books and board games.
The location also is beautiful and peaceful, a family of kangaroos with joeys kept us company and entertained for the weekend and my sister even spotted some deer.
All of this within an easy drive from Thredbo or Jindabyne villages.
The only downside for me was that we didn’t get to stay longer. I will definitely try to come back some time soon, it’s the ultimate home away from home.
Everything we could need was there. The house is nestled within the trees that gives you the sense of being disconnected, which was exactly what we needed. Saying this, it's a relatively short drive to Jindy town if you ever needed anything.
Inside and out, the house is beautifully presented. All the finishes and appliances are of the highest quality.
The games room and kids room with the bunk beds kept them well occupied over the weekend. All Tv's being connect to Foxtel also helped keep the kids happy as well as some of the adults while the rugby was on...
There multiple areas where you can just sit and chill out and I can see the appeal of this place in all seasons.
We will be back for sure as I can imagine during peak winter season the outlook must be even better...can't wait!

Great Place, great Location, amazing host! We really enjoyed our visit to the snows and our accommodation was the cherry on the top.
