The hosts are lovely and very thoughtful. Supplying bread, homemade jam. Milk, coffee, tea, cheese, butter, fruit, biscuits and many other treats and pantry supplies. Lovely bedding and things to keep you occupied. We enjoyed our stay
Comfortable little cottage in the delightful historic town of Ross. Stephanie is a great host and we were delighted with all the thoughtful extras awaiting us - croissants, fruit salad, biscuits…
Highly recommended.

This is a cottage of dream!
I could enjoy the bonfire(weather was good enough).
Enjoyed being so close to Main Street of Ross - cottage was compact but had everything we needed plus lots of little treats to enhance our stay. Bed was very comfy & we were toasty warm as well. Henry the border collie was a welcome visitor too
My mum and I really enjoyed our stay at White Croft. Perfect little cosy spot to enjoy the Midlands from. The cottage was warm and snug, with plenty of blankets to chill out on the couch with after a day of exploring. Tossing the ball to Henry the friendly collie was an added bonus.
Stephanie’s croft was an absolute dream. Every little thoughtful touch made our stay one to remember. Her dog Henry was so sweet and came to check on us quite regularly. I would absolutely stay here again without a doubt. Thank you Stephanie

Absolutely wonderful! A charming & comfortable cottage.
The cottage was so cute and cosy! Stephanie was a wonderful host. We were particularly impressed with the thoughtful arrival platter which was fabulous after a long drive and the breakfast was sensational with fresh laid eggs and homemade jam.
The cottage had everything we needed to make dinner and it was so peaceful sitting on the verandah relaxing in the evening twilight.
Would definitely recommend this cottage for anyone staying in Ross. A truly wonderful stay.

Thank you very much Penny for your very kind review. I am so glad you had such an enjoyable 2 night stay in my cottage.
It was a pleasure to have you stay.
I expected a gorgeous, private little cabin with a smart TV and charming decorations, but i didn't anticipate a freshly baked loaf of bread, with fresh fruit, eggs and bacon in the fridge. Not to mention chocolate, muffins, marshmallows, good coffee, gourmet salt... this little cabin really had everything we needed for a romantic weekend away to celebrate our anniversary. Very easy to find, close to town, and with a friendly dog. Would happily stay here again.

The cutest little cottage you’ll ever see! White Croft was the perfect place to stay. The cottage is beautifully presented and super cosy. Bed was so comfortable and the amenities were great. The Owners have put so much work into the fine details - a cute little cheese platter for our arrival, a basket of croissants, music playing. Was absolutely perfect. Thank you Stephanie for being so accommodating and letting us check in a little early.
My husband and I had an amazing stay in the cottage. Stephanie is such a lovely host, and kindly left an amazing chocolate brownie and other snacks. As we stayed on a Monday night, not much was open in town, and Stephanie kindly arranged a BBQ pack for our dinner that night. Ross is such a lovely historic little town and we really enjoyed walking around, taking in sights like the Ross Bridge, which is amazing! Henry the (border collie) dog also visited us and we had fun playing catch. If you are in the area, we highly recommend staying a night or 2 at the cottage. So comfy & cosy.
We arrived on a rather cold day after a long drive to find that the fire was on and there was pleasant music drifting through the cottage with a welcome cheese platter waiting for us - it relaxed us immediately and we say thank you to Stephanie for the kind thought. We have stayed at a number of cottages over the years and White Croft Cottage is up there with the best of them. The attention to detail and style, the thoughtfulness and the little welcome treats and breakfast provisions were most generous and more than we expected. We didn't get the chance to meet Stephanie personally as can be the case when you are travelling but we do thank her and highly recommend White Croft to other travellers and of course there is the added bonus of meeting Henry the family dog who made us most welcome too.

Lovely styled cottage .Loved that the heating was on & we had a lovely cheese platter to welcome us. We didn’t use the outside bath as it was a trifle cold in March.
Ross is a great town to visit with lots of history. Food at the Ross hotel is wonderful .Also the bakery where they had inside seating was good for coffee & food.a very easy walk to all the places of interest in Ross.
The train going past ,just across the road , particularly at night , disturbed our sleep unfortunately as it horn sounded multiple times as it went past.
We had a basket of some slices of bread & 2 croissants the afternoon we arrived but they weren’t very good to eat by the morning. No more for the next morning. There was cereal & a small yogurt & fruit in the fridge. Was looking forward to the chicken eggs but perhaps they weren’t laying at that stage.
White Croft country cottage was such a warm and welcoming place to stay . Stephanie thought of everything in all the little touches , from having the heater on with music playing on arrival , to many edible treats , very comfortable bed ,cosy throws if needed , and many more thoughtful items . Meeting Henry her dog was delightful . I would highly recommend this property and would of loved to stay longer .
