We had a very comfortable stay at The River House, the amenities are great however an upstairs toilet would have been handy. Overall we had a lovely stay with our Queensland family visitors.
Lovely location, quiet near the river. House had lots of room for us all - 7 adults. Note air conditioner is only in upstairs bedrooms. Kayaks great for a paddle on the river - house had everything we needed.
Communication was awesome- booking, access to property and exit of property. Nice location, close to amenities. The house lacked a few kitchen utensils such as potato peelers, large pot and tongs. Cleaning was poor, floors were not cleaned properly (underneath coaches and cupboards), kettle was black on inside (I had to clean before use) . On the whole it was a great holiday and house suited all of us.
Came down with 4 friends and stayed 2 nights, lovely location and house had everything we needed. Pity we were out all day as we would of loved to use the gorgeous patio area and backyard more. 4 double rooms and 1 with twin beds meant we could all have our own room. Spot on
great location and great amenities! Worth returning.

Liked: Cleanliness, location
Disliked: Check-in, listing accuracy
Nice house, poor managers
This house is managed by Holidays Margaret River, who in addition to full payment want an additional large bond over a month in advance, they were very quick to demand money and dismally slow to provide information. I had to chase for basic details of the house such as the address. Very poor company that tainted an otherwise pleasant house

Hi Jason
We are glad you enjoyed The River House, it is a beautiful location to stay.
Your review is disappointing and not accurate. Your bond which is standard for all houses was only paid by you 10 days before you stay and we refunded 4 days after your departure, once the cleaners had checked over the property. The address and property information are provided once payment is made in full. We are prompt with this information. We pride ourselves on providing a 5 star experience for our guests.

house is beautiful but it is a big inconvenience to have only 2 bathrooms for 10 people. One bathroom has access only from the bedroom so it can not be used by others. So in fact only a toilet can be used all the time!
Myself and three friends stayed for a week and we loved the area, so close to everything in the southwest. The house was lovely and homey and I would recommend to anyone wanting a beautiful holiday.
The house was everything 5 middle aged ladies needed as a base for touring the area! It was a little cold at night but plenty of fleecy blankets to wrap around us & put on our beds. Quiet neighbourhood which felt safe & community-minded. Excellent local trails to walk and cycle & walkable to the shops. Such a pity the high street is still under construction but looking forward to returning when it’s complete. Definitely recommend the house & Stayz & would use again.
The house was clean, in a great location and comfortable, the outdoor setting is great as we had 10 adults staying and it was good size. The house is nicely decorated with a good range of cooking utensils, would recommend staying here.
Things to note; aircon is only upstairs so was a bit hot in the down stairs bedrooms and living area, the inside dinning table only seats 8 so was a bit tricky having dinner inside with 10 people, and a few more tea towels would be good for short stays as we didn’t do a load of washing.
