Dumplings Den - Indoor/Outdoor living in town and close to the wineries

A large open plan house located on a quiet street just a short stroll from the centre of Mudgee, Dumplings Den provides luxury accommodation for you, your friends, your kids and your furry friends. Unlike other properties we allow pets inside and don't charge additional fees for them plus we have a fully fenced rear yard.

All the local vineyards are just a short drive away too with wine tours collecting you from the front door.

Containing 3 bedrooms, 2½ bathrooms, 2 living areas, a large covered outdoor dining area and a large fenced yard, Dumplings Den is the ideal place to relax, providing the perfect base enjoy the best that Mudgee offers.

The huge master offers a King bed and benefits from an ensuite with a double shower and separate bath, a walk-in wardrobe and reverse cycle air conditioning. Bed 2 provides a Queen bed with a built in wardrobe and ceiling fan and bed 3 a Double bunk, also with built in wardrobe and ceiling fan.

Beds 2 and 3 share a large bathroom (oversized shower, sink and toilet) across the corridor plus a further extra toilet is situated next to it.

For when there are more than 6 people staying the TV room contains a comfortable double sofa bed ($50 pppn extra)

All linen is provided along with plenty of spares so not need to bring anything but yourselves and your favourite tipple.

The covered deck with fan enables you to enjoy our built in barbie whatever the weather and the outdoor fridge ensures your drinks are readily accessible while you relax. For some quiet time away from the rest of the family there is also a second smaller side deck with a table and chairs.

The outdoor fire pit is perfect for the cooler nights and indoor wood burner great for the winter nights. There is plenty of wood always available and cushions to keep you comfortable.

The three reverse cycle air conditioning units ensure a comfortable stay whatever the weather. In winter we also have electric blankets, hot water bottles and extra blankets available.

The large fenced flat grassy yard provides space for your dogs and kids to run around or play games whilst you relax on the deck. We have a selection of outdoor games including a giant Jenga set for your enjoyment, or at night relax on the grass and enjoy the stars.

Dogs of any size are allowed inside so bring all the family. Treats and water bowls are provided along with toys to keep your dog amused. Just bring their favourite food and their beds and you are ready to go.

Wi-fi, the large smart TV with Netflix plus a Blueray/DVD player and the bluetooth speaker will keep everyone entertained. For those that prefer more traditional entertainment a selection of board games, jigsaws and books are also available.

A selection of tea's, coffee (filter, pod & instant), cereals, bread and milk are included in the fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher to maximise your relaxation time. A wide range of pantry items are also available for guests to use and we have a herb garden which you are encouraged to make use of.

Ample off street parking to the front and side of the house. On street parking also plentiful.

Guests should note a creek runs down the side of the property which can become fast running during our very occasional periods of heavy rain. This area is fenced.

We are a couple living in Sydney with two totally spoilt fur kids.

Mudgee is a favourite place of ours for the warmth of the locals, the general dog-friendliness of the area and of course the great selection of local wines.

Why they chose this property

We love Mudgee but unfortunately our career choices mean we can't yet move here.

Dumplings Den was chosen because of the great space offered in a quiet area whilst being only a short walk from the centre of town.

Being located off the main street means we can also enjoy the silence and night skies that being in the country offers whilst still being able to walk into the centre of town in a few minutes.

What makes this property unique

The covered outdoor deck is a fantastic area for relaxing and enjoying BBQ breakfasts, sundowners or nightcaps.

We allow dogs of all shapes and sizes inside the house and charge a flat rates for up to 6 guests plus furry friends.
