Galloway Place is conveniently located in Southeast Springfield near the very popular Sequiota Park. Access to one of Springfields Greenway Trails is directly across the street and leads to the Springfield Conservation Nature Center. This 4 bedroom home is nestled in a park like setting that feels like you are in the country but centrally located to everything in town. It offers easy access to Hwy 65 and Branson. It is only minutes from a wide variety of restaurants, The Battlefield Mall, and IMax Theatre. This home is walking distance, via the trail, to Sequiota Park, local shopping and eateries. Just a couple miles from two major hospitals

This was our second time to stay at Galloway Place. It is comfortable, clean, and meticulously decorated. The owners have provided everything you need for a lovely stay. They are easy to communicate with and respond promptly to requests. This is definitely a five star stay!

Friends’ weekend

Route 66 Trip

This house was wonderful. It was well located, very clean, well stocked, quiet and safe. Perfect location for a day trip to Branson and a trip down Route 66. The owners were very courteous and very prompt with their communication. We will definitely stay there again sometime!

Family Time in Springfield

The house was great! The details made the stay welcoming, relaxing, and stress free. The boys (8,11) loved getting to hang out with Gracie and Tarzan, a horse and donkey resident on the property. My kiddos are already asking to come back and we definitely would stay here again. Thanks for the memories!

Best location in Springfield. Clean and comfortable

My kids and I enjoyed a long weekend at this beautiful home. It was very clean and comfortable for my 3 teenagers. The house is well equipped with everything you’ll need and the decorations give a very warm home feeling. Also, the location gives a great private feeling while being only 5 minutes away from all the amenities in town. We often visit Springfield and we’ll be back to the Galloway House.

Clean. Plenty of pillows, towels etc. loved watching the donkey and little horse in the mornings while I was drinking coffee on the porch. Beautiful inside. Love the old decor. Great communication. Plenty of room for my family. Definitely would come back!

Beautiful setting for a country stay in the city

This property, built in 1920s, is amazingly restored and beautifully furnished without one ounce of stuffiness. The grounds call you to explore and enjoy. The owners are so very friendly and flexible. We slept 6 very comfortably on soft beds with luxury linens and had room for 2 more. We felt like we were secluded in a lush forest yet were just a short drive away from anything we needed. Definitely very highly recommended property. The very best!

Galloway Place is Perfect

We have stayed in many vacation rentals and the Galloway Place by far exceeds all of them. Darren and Deborah are a pleasure to work with and they thought of every little detail to make our stay in their home perfect. The stone cottage is beautifully decorated, stocked with snacks and drinks and the house smelled of freshly baked cookies that were left for our family to enjoy. The beds are very comfortable, the house is cozy, and even though the kitchen is small it has everything you need to prepare meals. We were in Springfield for our son's wedding and Darren and Deborah even brought over a cooler, plates and napkins so we would have enough supplies when we entertained family and friends. We loved the porch and party lights. It has great seating and a large table for dining. We spent a lot of time on the porch enjoying the Missouri spring weather and making memories. We highly recommend this gem.

Quiet, Cozy, and Comfortable

My Co-Worker and I had a long work trip and the house was so cozy and we were able to work late into the night with no distractions like we would normally have at a hotel. I really loved the aesthetic of the home as well. We will be back in the future and have also considered bringing our families here for our next non-work visit to Springfield.

This house was in an absolutely perfect location for our weekend. You feel like you are in the country, but minutes away from shopping, restaurants, or anything you might need. We thoroughly enjoyed this property. We would stay here again.

Excellent place to stay!

House is an older house built about 1920 but with updated appliances etc. Decorated with beautiful antiques. There are stairs- but there is one bedroom on the main floor (the other bedrooms and laundry are upstairs/downstairs). It has a beautiful covered patio with plenty of seating. Owners are super nice! It is in town but you don’t feel like you are in town! Close to a park with a walking trail- but we didn’t have time this trip and it rained our first night there. We would definitely stay here again!!

Last minute trip with family

We needed to make a last minute trip with family (all adults) and this was the PERFECT location and home for us. All four bedrooms are spacious (especially the master bedroom on the lower level) and the extra touches with the thoughtful, historical decor was AMAZING. Add in Gracie and Tarzan in the backyard (the mini-pony and donkey), the quiet neighborhood, the walking trail across the street and ample porch seating! The owners were quick to respond to any questions both on the app and through text and even offered to salt the driveway very early in the morning and help in any way when bad weather was impending for our trip back to the airport. Coffee and extras were plentiful and the cleanliness was TOP NOTCH. All beds were extremely comfortable as well. This is an EXCEPTIONAL find!!!

So Special!

Great location, charming house, and the hosts have thought of everything. If that weren’t enough, the porch was the perfect place to drink coffee in the morning and other beverages in the evening. Getting to watch Gracie and Tarzan (the mule and pony) from a distance and squirrels and deer up close made the porch even that much better.

It is different than most. The area of Galloway is a booming part of town!

What makes this property unique

This home is not in a neighborhood. Because of that, we don't mind if you have guests over or entertain your family. If you are here to visit family and friends, we want you to feel like you can welcome them into our home. (Small gatherings only). We have a grill available for cookouts and a porch that is absolutely wonderful in the warmer months.
