We are a large home in the heart of Springfield, MO where our guest become family on historical Walnut Street. What brings guest to us the first time is our wonderful location. Downtown Springfield is a model of the best kind of urban renewal for many to follow. There are over 50 restaurants, two movie theaters, 5 coffee shops, two parks, AA baseball (for the St. Louis Cardinals), and three colleges (MSU, Drury, and OTC) within a short walk. You have a choice; you can stay here with us and enjoy relaxing on or our porch, or take walk to a plethora of dining and entertainment all around us. What brings our guest back is our commitment to service. We want you to have a good time, and will work to make sure your stay is a fabulous one. The house and property don't hurt either! Take a look at the granite, trim and tile work, large open windows and wrap around porch!

The location was perfect for us, as we were attending a convention at the University Plaza hotel half a mile away. Check in instructions were awesome, and finding the binder on the kitchen table was very helpful for us to reference. The rooms were just what we needed and everything was very clean. Beds were very comfortable, and the shared areas were very spaceous, and very comfortable also. Everything was mostly stocked and available for us to use. When we arrived, we were excited to see that the house had snacks and coffee pods waiting for us. We did run out of toilet paper near the end of our stay, so that is really the only issue we had. If we ever come back to Springfield, we hope to stay at this house again.

Everything was as stated on the website. The house and neighborhood is beautiful and the house was stocked with all the essentials and some snacks! We were very happy with our stay. Parking and entry was easy and the beds were very comfy! Definitely recommend!

What a beautiful house!! Our favorite place was the front porch; it is so shady and there was always a nice breeze. We enjoyed sitting on the porch talking and watching the people walk by. The bedrooms are all comfortable - note that the front bedroom faces the street and you may hear traffic noise. But that was my favorite room and the noise wasn’t too bad. The kitchen is well equipped and there were snacks and k-cups to welcome us when we arrived tired and hungry. The house was exceptionally clean, too. We enjoyed our long weekend very much! A bonus was the bookstore right next door! Dixie was very quick to respond to my texts. All in all this is a delightful place to stay, near to just about anything.

We walked almost everywhere! Cute bookstore literally next door, local pub/restaurant to watch FIFA a couple of blocks away, one of the best breakfast spots in the city less than a mile walk away, the most relaxing pottery painting business next to that...and less than a mile walk to downtown Springfield. AND only a quick drive to the zoo, aquarium, and more outstanding restauratns. LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION. Spacious, clean, well stocked. Off street reserved parking was outstanding. We couldn't find anything wrong with this VRBO - honestly. Everything was absolutely great. Thank you for the attention to detail, outstanding communication, and welcome to Springfield!
