Beautiful home. Very clean. Offered a relaxing home base while in town for a conference. Check in process was easy. Even though the upstairs is rented out to college students it was quiet.
Our stay was wonderful. Great location near downtown area. We all loved the big front porch for evening chats. Except for the loud racing cars, we would definitely go back.
It is a turn-of-the-century (1901) house that has been modernized. It is near plenty of restaurants and within walking distance of a park, office buildings and the MSU campus. The walls are thin, so you will hear traffic noises, but otherwise a super nice place to stay.
we had a conference at the University Plaza and Convention center. the house was about .8 of a mile from the hotel and convention center. we walked everyday and night to the convention center and it took about 15 minutes. we felt safe and secure even in the evening time. plenty of Law Enforcement Officers in the area and we enjoyed the time in the house as well. nice and spacious and very clean! highly recommend.
Our family had a wonderful stay at the property. It was a beautiful historic home with a lot of charm. The location was great as we were close to everything we wanted to do. Would definitely stay again.

Wonderful Option in Springfield
Our family enjoyed this unique house. We will definitely be back on our next visit to the area!
A fun group of MoState moms stayed here for Mom’s weekend. It’s the perfect location. Kids can walk from dorms/frat houses to meet up. Close to campus and downtown. Love the openness of kitchen and living room. Beds are comfy. We hope to stay here often on our visits.
We had family in from out of town and needed a convenient place for all of them to stay. This met all of our expectations, although there was an issue with accessing the code to the key lock. Loved the large front deck where we could all sit out!
Been here 3xs, excellent property management, nice, clean, modern inside. Love it! But, Springfield is sketchy, there's lots of vagrants in this part of town, loud ambulances too. SO, no beef with the property, just want families to know where they are staying if you've never been there.

Beautiful historic home.
Eight of us rented this home early in March 2016 when in town for a week-long basketball tournament. Absolutely wonderful historic home. Much roomier than we expected. Newly renovated but unique architectural features preserved. Very clean and well-furnished. The kitchen had all the necessities. Great location for walking through historic neighborhood and near downtown. Lockbox code was incorrecly set for arrival, but immediate response to our inquiry providing the correct code, Highly recommend!
Love this property! This house is absolutely gorgeous! We love the location and the size of this home. The one complaint we had was the small trash cans did not have bags in them. So they were dirty in the bottom and made taking out the trash harder. Also was not a fan of not washing the comforters after every stay. That is not sanitary! Overall a very good stay and will stay here again!
My husband and I are fanatics when it comes to older homes. We love driving around and looking at older homes and paying attention to all the detail that used to go into building homes. And this one, hit the mark. Not only was the home beautiful and clean, it had the nice kitchen and bathrooms that were updated as well as still having the old home charm. The home is close to any thing and everything you need in Springfield and incredibly close to the Missouri State campus if you have a student there. We were in town for one of our sons' wedding. The bedrooms, living space and bathrooms were very spacious. The kitchen and bathrooms had all the amentities you would find in a hotel, with snacks, coffee pods, soaps etc. We would defininitely come back here anytime we come to visit Springfield. This home is a must come again place! Thank you for having us!
The house was very clean and location was good for the function we attended. Parking could be better, but we made it work with the help of the property manager allowing us to park at their business 3 doors down.
One thing that was not mentioned in the listing online, there are tenants living above in an apartment. It really did not cause a problem since they were moving out.
Pros: Clean house, comfortable beds and good location.
Cons: need to add to list that there is an apartment upstairs with tenants. Needs more than just 2 parking spaces reserved on the property. This is a place that accommodates up to 8 people, that’s usually a minimum of 4 cars when people can’t carpool. With our group of friends we had during our stay, we actually had 8 people and 5 cars due to different schedules and travel times. As stated earlier though, nice of the property owners to let us park at their building down the street.
This is an excellent vacation or conference stay for a family. Large open living space separates the four bedrooms - one side for kiddos and the other for parents and infant. Adequate kitchen area for meals. The hospitality of snacks, board games, and toiletries was appreciated.
We really loved this place for our bowling trip to Springfield. Perfect for the 5 of us! Host was very prompt in responding and place was beautiful, clean, roomy, and relaxing. Will stay here again!
