It was a great stay, but we were not aware of the shared patio/kitchen with a second suite until after we booked. We were lucky that the other side was empty during our stay but would feel less private if it was filled. Carla was great and the stay was amazing!

A great out of the way place in the heart of wine country. The property is tucked high on the hillside surrounded by uncultivated desert like vegetation with beautiful views of many vineyards. Great access to lots of back roads to cycle. Perfect for 2 couples booking both suites and sharing the kitchen. The weather cooperated so we could eat our meals outside but for one evening. It was a little cozy eating together in one suite but very doable. Roger was a delightful host.

Wine & golf

Exceeded our expectations in many ways. Nice to walk to wine tasting & short drive to golf & anything else we required. Roger & Carla were super friendly & accessible for any questions we had. We had a ‘golden’ time & will be back with ou r dog next time

The guesthouse is a very cute adobe style cottage with gorgeous views of the valley and Vaseux Lake. The rooms were spotless, and were very cutely decorated. Attention was paid to all the details, and even the cutlery and dishes in the kitchen were of a high standard which is pretty rare for rentals. We loved our stay, and would love to come back.

This is a perfect getaway. It is a relaxing place with a variety of birds singing throughout the day. The owners are dog friendly. The Prickly Pear cacti are not friendly to either dogs or human feet. However, the owners have identified designated dog walking trails. If, like us, you are a geocacher, then you can spend many hours seeking out those hides. This is a great way to discover interesting places that are seldom advertised. There are several wineries within walking distance and so many more in the region. Okanagan Falls has a couple of very good restaurants, which is excellent considering how small it is. Wer loved this place and will probably return soon.

Very nice, quiet location within short distances of so much.

Modern adobe style half-duplex with stunning views and a very well appointed shared kitchen. Hosts are gracious & live just uphill in another adobe-style house. Will definitely return.

Wonderful Location!!

We loved staying at Bighorn Ridge! The location is so beautiful, atop a hill overlooking vineyards and the lake. The owners are extremely hospitable and helpful, even providing a map of trails for walking our little dog. Okanagan Falls is a nice location if you are looking for something a little lower key than Penticton or Kelowna. It is near enough to these spots to be able enjoy them, but has more of a small town feel.

Spectacular place!

Good hosts living next door. The views are wonderful. Guesthouse is very comfortable, but you will want to spend most of your time on the patio/Veranda.
