Great house, big enough to fit our two families. Beautiful entertainers kitchen with all the gadgets and utensils you would find at your own home. The area out back was perfect for all the family to sit around to catch up over a beer while the bbq was cooking. The kids (and adults!) made good use of the basketball area.

THE AREA

The home is situated in Harewood, a tree-lined established area, very close to the airport and the motorway running north to south and still within a short drive to the city centre.

It is close by to a number of Christchurch's biggest attractions including:-
- Orana Park Wildlife Reserve
- The Antarctic Centre
- Russley Golf Course
- Willowbank
- The Groynes Nature Reserve
- Bishopdale (Elephant) Park with its famous Elephant slide and very popular kids playground
- Many parks all around the area

Shopping and dining is also close by with:-
- The Papanui Club (One of the cities newest and nicest clubs which is excellent for Families). This is just a short walk around the corner
- Bishopdale Mall has shopping, supermarket, and restaurants/takeaways
- Northlands Shopping Centre is a short drive away
- Spitfire Square by the airport also has numerous restaurants and shops

THE HOME - DOWNSTAIRS

LIVING ROOM
The large but cozy main living area connects to the front outdoor living, the hallway to the downstairs beds and upstairs and also onto the kitchen and dining.
Relax by the fire in winter while enjoying warm cocoa (or glass of wine) or keep cool in summer with the air-conditioning unit.

The couch by the fire folds out to a double bed where the 11th and 12th guests will have a comfortable night's sleep. We can make this bed on request or we will leave the linen for you to make at your leisure.

This second lounging area has a wall-mounted TV set up to watch either on the couch, while cooking in the kitchen or at the lower bar area that seats 7. This area is perfect for large groups. It looks out to the rear entertaining area and to the basketball court.

We cannot praise our experience enough. There were 11 of us for 2 and 3 nights stay. We could not fault this home, warm and cozy, exceptionally clean and well provided with everything you would need at home. We had 3 children who spent so much time playing basketball and it was so thoughtful to provide the 3 balls. Many thanks

GETTING AROUND
Public transport by bus is very close by and can take you anywhere in Christchurch with a little planning ahead. Buses run on a very regular schedule.

Uber and taxis are also available.

PLEASE NOTE:
The cleaning fee is for the laundering of bed linen and towels.
We would very much appreciate that guests leave the house in a clean and tidy condition.

The entire house is for your use, dependent on the number of guests staying.

This includes... the back and front yard also there are 3 car spaces.

We please ask for smaller bookings not to use the spare beds as this creates far more unnecessary cleaning for us.
