We loved the history of this home. It was rich in New Mexico and Santa Fe style and all of the decor and finishes went along with that, from the bathroom tiles, to the floors & ceilings, to the beautiful doors and cabinetry. We loved it. It was also located up a private drive which allowed privacy from traffic. Plenty of room for our group of 5 and it is close enough to walk to restaurants and sights in town if you don't mind a bit of a walk. Would definitely recommend this home!
The casa was beautiful, well appointed with everything we needed. If you intend to cook, there are no spices, oil or basics. But we made a couple meals knowing that. Great, walkable location. The rental agent made sure the key was at the house due to our late arrival. There were chips, salsa, some coffee and a bottle of wine on the kitchen table. Very nice. The beds are a little soft so our older backs hurt in the morning. As VRBO users who pride ourselves in caring for a home as if it’s our own, we left the place in immaculate shape. We followed the instructions carefully. However, there is a no refund fee for breakage of 150, which I find excessive given the other fees and rental cost. We didn’t break or disturb anything. This is a property management group not a private ownership, I guess.

Casa Martinez is what every newer house in Santa Fe strives to be.
Casa Martinez is what every newer house in Santa Fe strives to be. This historic adobe home has been updated over the decades and is a beautiful, comfortable home in a quiet location. The property dates back to the mid 1700s. The private location and proximity to the Plaza are ideal. The front porch allows for bird watching and a view of a charming Santa Fe garden. The team responded to us quickly and efficiently.
