Remodeled Home Close to KU Med | 2 bed, 1 bath

Updated home situated in a great close-in neighborhood that's perfect for exploring KC. Enjoy this elegant home that has been recently remodeled & retrofitted with all of today's amenities. Walk to KU Med Hospital & all the restaurants, shops & bars on 39th Street. Westport & the country club plaza are one mile away. The Cross Roads District & Downtown KC (Sprint Center, Power & Light, The Midland Theater, etc) are all a quick 5 minute ride. Arrowhead & Kauffman Stadiums are 15 minutes away.

This recently updated home has two bedrooms, one bath, a garage and off street parking. Both bedrooms have Queen sized beds & the couch has a queen sized pull out bed. This is a ranch style home with all bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, living room & dining room on one level. The kitchen is loaded with appliances and cookware. The long private driveway & detached garage makes parking a breeze and the deck overlooking the back yard is great for entertaining or relaxing. The washer and dryer are accessible for all guests and there's a flat screen wall mounted TV in the living room. In addition to the 2 beds & sleeper sofa; there is a blow up mattress available that can be placed in living room.

Please read the house rules. If a house rule is not followed (especially the first two) you will be subject to a minimum charge of $150 per occurrence. Also, if the correct number of guests are not reflected in your reservation requests, you will owe the extra guest fees of $15 per person per night for each guest over two. You will also be subject to a minimum charge of $150 for stating an inaccurate number of guests in your reservation. The definition of a guest is any person who enters the home. Please contact me with any questions regarding any house rule. Special arrangements for additional guests can be made with written consent.

A good job of providing a comfortable and pleasant place to stay at a good price. The beds were especially good. This is an older neighborhood of small houses (maybe 1930's) that is close to several attractions dating back to that period. We visited K.C. for the Arabia Steamboat Museum in the River Market area and the Nelson Adkins Art Museum. Much more to do in the area as well. Seems strange to be in the State of Kansas, drive a few residential area blocks west and you are still in the same residential area but have slipped into the State of Missouri.

Christmas in KC

This was the perfect place to connect with family living nearby, have a few meals together, and watch the Chiefs game on Christmas Day. Jason is a very responsive host and the house is well-maintained in a quiet neighborhood. We will stay here again.

We were looking for a place near to us for our Brazilian family to stay while visiting the USA for the first time. Very clean and updated but very Gould smell throughout the house. Like old house mildew smell. It was very unpleasant. The neighborhood is old and the houses are very tight together.
