Spacious 4+ bedroom cabin/mountain house, located on Buffalo Mountain, Beautiful mountain views from every window, gas fireplace, In the heart of Summit ski country, (A-Basin, Keystone, Breckenridge and Copper on free bus line,) it backs to National Forest and trails for hiking, cross country skiing and snow-shoeing. 2 large decks and grill for outdoor cooking. Convenient garage entry and indoor storage area for sports equipment, no trekking through the snow and ice. Remote but 2 miles from restaurants, outlet mall shopping and 4 miles from Dillon Reservoir. Great summer and winter playground. 4 sets of snowshoes included. The cabin is fully equipped with kitchen supplies, 2 tables that extend to seat eight people each, and bedding for 1 king, 2 queens, 2 singes, 1 double futon, and 1 single futon. Extra air mattresses in closet. Washer and dryer, Family room, with games, puzzles and DVD/VCR .

Perfect ski Getaway

We found this home so comfortable after 4 long days of skiing. We appreciated the easy access to I-70 which made getting around Silverthorne, Dillon, and Frisco a breeze. The hosts were very responsive and the check-in, check-out procedures were simple. Great house!

Silverthorne Family Trip

We had eight wonderful days at this property. It was convenient for a variety of day trips to Breckenridge, Keystone, Idaho Springs, Leadville, Pikes Peak. Lots of good biking, hiking, and shopping. House was very well equipped and held our group of six easily. Beds were good. Saw plenty of mule dear out the back window. Even with neighboring houses, it has a good sense of privacy. Would definitely come back if we ever had the opportunity.

Summer getaway

Great location, perfectly situated between Breck, Frisco, Dillon, Silverthorne with scenic views all around. We hiked close by, went to the lake, water rafted, mountain biked and even aught an art fair in Keystone. Perfect location and home had everything we needed, highly recommend!

Short drive to ski resorts

A group of friends and I came here to ski and it was the perfect place! Only 20 minutes from keystone, 30 minutes from Breckenridge and 40 minutes from vail! And only a short drive into Silverthorne! I would highly recommend staying here and would definitely stay here again!

Christmas getaway

This property was perfect for our large family! The scenery was beautiful and we had plenty of room! We enjoyed the fireplace as well as the tables for playing games in the evening! Be sure to check for games in the cabinet to play and watch for the moose!

Awesome stay!

Great location. 15m away from Keystone for great skiing. The cabin is located up a mountain which is 10m drive from Lowes, Walgreens and other convenient stores. Cabin is well equipped. We were able to grill and cook for a nice family trip. The hosts were responsive. Overall great experience.

Overall it was a great stay and everything that we needed was there. When we arrived to check in the driveway was not plowed and we had to shovel through a couple of feet to get to the garage. Later in the day a contracted snow plower came and cleared the drive way for us.

Such a wonderful home! Worked perfectly for our family. We had humming birds every day on the patio (i brought my own feeder). We had 2 foxes and saw 4 deer in the back yard. A fabulous weekend. Thanks so much! Highly recommend

Skiing at Keystone - End of February

This is a great place. One thing that stood out was the kitchen. The best appointed kitchen I have every had at a vacation rental place. They even have an instant pot. I'm not sure they guarantee that though. This is a great layout for 8-10 people. Two bedrooms upstairs and two bedrooms down stairs. They had one stall in the garage available, which was nice for loading and unloading vehicles. This property is a great value for this area.

This was the perfect place to stay! The kitchen was well stocked with cooking and serving supplies. We were in town for our son’s outdoor wedding. The house was perfect to come to at night and wake up in. The balcony was a great place to relax, see the stars then have coffee in the morning before the busy day’s activities. We highly recommend this beautiful property.

We live in the North Metro Denver area, (Thornton.) I am a retired teacher and watercolor artist. Many of my paintings, mostly nature, are on display in the cabin. Greg was an electronics engineer and now an energy auditor. We love our mountain home but also like to travel. We enjoy sharing the beauty and peace we find at the cabin by making it available to others when we can't be up there. (Of course we like the extra income, too.) We ski and hike and love to play tennis

Why they chose this property

Our cabin is located near Silverthorne, at the top of Mesa Cortina, foot of Buffalo Mountain and backs to the national forest. You can walk right out into the forest from out backyard. We are at the end of the trail so there is no traffic to disturb the peace. There are mountains views from every window and the windows are tall. We are only an hour and 20 minutes from Denver and the epi center of 4 ski areas, Keystone, A-Basin, Breckenridge, Copper, and Vail. We are 15 minutes from the beautiful Lake Dillon Reservoir where you can walk, bike, boat, kayak, canoe, and watch free and paid concerts at the venue overlooking the lake and dine at great restaurants nearby. We have an open family living space with fireplace, couches, granite island, 2 dining areas inside, and, large front deck and smaller back deck with grill to dine or relax outside. In other words a little mountain paradise. Rec room with Large screen TV/Comcast and guest streaming. Easy access, roads and drive-way are plowed as needed by county and plow service.

Beautiful views, quiet , backs to forest, walk out to hike, sled, x-country ski, snowshoe (included), close to ski areas, dining and shopping, but still remote. Gas fireplace, high speed internet, comcast. Board games and puzzle, large screen smart TV with comcast. Kitchen fully stocked with plates, silverware, cooking utensils, including insta-pot, pots and pans. Amenities are available in all bathrooms. 2 decks for relaxing, eating and star gazing. Outdoor grill and 2 decks.
