We had an excellent stay at this property. The location was great. Just a short walk in the Village for lift access. Everything was clean. I always like duvet covers on the bedding and this property had that. We cooked some meals and the kitchen worked great. The beds were comfortable. The fire place made it cozy.

The condo itself was very nice and spacious. Unfortunately the complex had a horrible smell in the hallway on floor two the entire week. When I talked to the front desk they said there was a plumbing issue.

Convenient Get a Way

Excellent location in a resort we enjoy. If you happen to be there when the snow is melting you will hear where the melt is falling, but if you've enjoyed a solid day of skiing you won't notice. Same with the neighbor's dog. This is a very, very nice place for a family that wants to avoid parking or commute shuttles, and have the option of cooking at home or dining out. We would definitely recommend, and would be happy to stay there again. Everything was as advertised.

This is the third time we stay at Northstar. The location is wonderful as usual with awesome amenities and stores a short walk away. The property this time was ok. It’s usually cleaner. The communication with the property manager was bad unfortunately. No willingness to help.

I cannot give this ppty a rating as the roads were inaccessible and the resort was mostly closed due to wind, accumulated snow and avalanche warnings. We were not able to make the trip. however, the mgr or owner referred us to policy and said we should have travel insurance (unclear most travel insurance covers this) and although no refund was requested , an ability to come back another time to use this unit was denied. People should know this before booking.

Northstar ghost town

1st we were sent to the wrong building at check in. Northstar was abandoned, only one restaurant open, all stores closed. Shower head was terrible. Gondolas were closed.

Amazing location, lots of activities to do right from the condo. Only thing I would suggest to the property owner is to invest in new mattresses!! “Luxury condo but Motel 6 beds!! After long travel, hiking, rock climbing, boating a nice comfy bed to crash into would be nice! Overall, great experience a d will be back as long as they get new beds!

Lauren, the property manager, was so communicative and helpful with all of our questions and requests! The condo was so clean and the kitchen was well equipped with everything you’d need to cook an entire meal, which we did multiple times. Would highly recommend!

A wonderful week

The unit design was perfect for our extended family of five. We are cooks and this kitchen was equipped better than any VRBO we have stayed in. It had the tools and pots/pans needed to prepare big meals and the quality of this equipment was very good. This is a well maintained unit with exceptionally responsive property managers. The ONLY thing I would change if I could is I would add Netflix to the main TV in the living room - but there are THREE more TVs in the unit and all have Netflix. We will absolutely try to stay at this unit again on our next Tahoe trip. I strongly recommend it.
