About this property
Tucson Racquet & Fitness Club Town Home Private Spa
Bright, beautifully decorated, and convenient to the very best Tucson locations, this two-bedroom and two-bath townhouse will become more than just a comfortable home away from home. It will easily be part of your reason to head to this city!
With its impressive design and décor, its amazing amenities, and its proximity to some of the finest shopping, dining, and even a top of the line fitness club, it could easily be part of your reason to head to this city!
Located directly across the street from the prestigious Tucson Racquet and Fitness Club, the property is less than 15 minutes from the best malls, grocery stores, activities, and scenery. It is adjacent and walking distance to the Rio Vista Natural Resource Park as well, giving it a much less developed feel than many other spots in the area.
Close to the Rillito River, it is just a short walk or bicycle ride to the famous "The Loop", as well. As the Pima County government website explains, "Pima County residents and visitors on foot, bikes, skates, and horses can enjoy the more than 100 miles of shared-use paths that have already been completed. If it doesn't have a motor, it's good to go on The Loop." ((URL HIDDEN) This makes the townhome an ideal option for the outdoor lover or active group that wants an authentic experience of the region, as well as a safe place for a jog or bike ride every day.
The Basics
Capable of accommodating up to six guests, thanks to the pullout sofa and air mattress in the den, this townhouse is spacious and airy, saturated with pops of color ideally suited to the desert locale, and truly welcoming with its terra cotta floors, bold white palette, functioning fireplace, and large private garden.
The townhouse features a tremendous amount of living space and offers more than 1,400 square feet spread out over two floors. The lower level is where the main entrance is located, and once inside you will instantly love the open floor plan. Visitors can move fluidly from the comfortable living room, which features a cathedral ceiling and enormous windows that look out to the patio and garden, to the dining area and kitchen.
The Living Spaces
The living room is where the fireplace is found, and contemporary wall art and an overhead fan balance out the genuinely comfortable seating and furnishings that will make this space a favorite gathering spot. Just a few steps away are the dining area and the large and contemporary kitchen.
Modern and stylish, the kitchen is designed with warm, wooden cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, and features an enormous pantry. An "eat-in" dining space, allows you to enjoy sipping coffee at the breakfast table while looking out into the private and well-designed backyard. Just a few steps from the kitchen, and through the sliding glass doors, you can enjoy your own private backyard paradise.
Also on the main level is the den. Here you can gather to enjoy a few hours of TV (there is an amply-sized 32" model tucked into a stylish entertainment center), but you can also rely on this space as a third bedroom. The sofa (pull out) converts quickly and easily into a comfortable bed, and the location of this room guarantees privacy and quiet.
This level also features the patio and garden with mature plantings, but the real highlight is the beautifully tile hot tub, newly renovated in 2018. Sunken at ground level, this is going to become a major temptation at the end of each day. Surrounded by the lovely green of the garden along with the elegant brickwork and tiling, it is entirely private. You will find this spot a small and cozy sanctuary where relaxing conversations or hours of leisure will be happily enjoyed. A gas BBQ and comfortable lounge chairs guarantee that you will spend many hours here, and if you want to take a swim, there is a community newly refurbished pool and hot tub with plenty of seating and shade a minute walk from the town home.
Both bedrooms are on the upper level. The queen-sized bedroom is furnished with a desk, nightstand, tv, and a large and roomy closet. The king-sized bedroom is decorated in a light and contemporary style with an enormous closet, large windows, and a special seating area along with. There is a TV on the dresser. A full, private bath nearby for those staying in this bedroom, and it too is roomy and decorated with the same earthy, appealing elements found throughout the home. There is also a full bathroom next to the den.
Set away from shared living spaces, these rooms are very quiet, private, and still very roomy. Both the den and bedrooms have large sliding windows facing to the neighborhood.
This level is also where one of the full bathrooms can be found, and this too is decorated with native tile and features a large and roomy vanity that can easily accommodate the needs of guests in both bedrooms.
The Extras
Unlike many homes available for visitors to Tucson, this property features entirely new beds, high quality linens and towels, and free WiFi throughout. There are two additional television sets in the townhouse, as well as the larger TV in the den. There is no landline phone, and visitors must provide their own cellular coverage. Parking is ample, and guests enjoy one reserved space in the covered parking, as well as one reserved spot in the uncovered parking area. There is always ample parking on the streets, too, and this is safe and ideal for extra guests.
As mentioned, the community has a lovely, large pool available for use, and this is equipped with a full lounge area with chairs and shade. The use of the Tucson Racquet and Fitness Club is available for an affordable $12 daily pass or $40 weekly pass. There is no contract to sign, and visitors are allowed to use all of the facilities.
No matter what reason you have for visiting Tucson, this wonderfully modern and spacious townhouse will be an ideal place to call home. Just a short drive to the La Encantada luxury mall (which offers high-end fashion as well as amazing restaurants), the lovely Old Town Artisans district in El Presidio, the Tucson Mall, the neighborhood Trader Joe's, and so much more, it is an affordable and remarkably comfortable choice. A three-night minimum stay also makes it a rarity, and you will want to return to this peaceful and quiet spot any time you are in Tucson.
