About this property
Double Trouble|Single Level|2BD|2BTH|SLP6|Hot Tub|Wildlife
DOUBLE-TROUBLE HIDEAWAY is a modern luxury cabin retreat built within the Ouachita National Forest. Completed in August 2018, the vision and design of Double Trouble Hideaway was created to provide the Beavers Bend area with a unique cabin experience that exudes both intimacy and privacy in its architecture while equally creating a warm and organically-modern interior through the thoughtful selection of comfortable furnishings, luxurious amenities and all of it residing within the canopy of the forest and scenic beauty.
This cabin is an architect planned and designed cabin which consists of 2 master bedroom suites, 2 full bathrooms, open living, kitchen, dining room, covered outdoor patio, covered deck pavilion, hot tub and outdoor fire pit.
The cabin structure sits amidst enormous pine trees as well as cedar, cherry, dogwood, juniper, maple, oak and sweet gum trees. Below the vast trees is an amazing species of native shrubs, plants, muscadine grape vines, and mosses. All of which combined allow for great viewing of wildlife and birds in their natural habitat. Upon entering the property, through its grand tree lined U shaped drive, immediately you can since the serenity and thoughtfulness that went into creating the cabin so that it conforms to the land and easily intertwines with the nature surrounding it.
Inside guests are enveloped in a beautiful space which insures your eyes are surrounded by nothing but 100% organic beauty. Throughout the space the interior walls and ceilings are wrapped in charcoal stained 10” solid (locally grown) pine planks and the floors are beautiful polished concrete. The open living, dining and kitchens opposing walls are both lined with matching clear glass windows to allow you to see and feel the beauty of the nature all around you. In the living area, the floor to ceiling stacked rock fireplace place creates a natural area where people and families are meant to come together and relax. The fireplace features gas logs in order to allow a much needed fire to be instantly available with both ease and warmth all year long and not just seasonally. The open dining room and kitchen provides enough seating for 8 guests. Within the kitchen, custom cabinetry and stainless steel appliances were purposefully placed to insure all of your storage and counter needs are met for a weekend or a week-long stay.
Double Trouble Hideaway was designed in order to purposefully create a home with two separate master bedrooms. After 13 years developing some of Beavers Bends most architectural and inspirational cabins, the creators of this cabin knew that the need for a beautiful cabin which would fulfill the intimacy needs of a single couple, two couples or a small family (not looking for another massive structure with massive spaces in a massive cabin community) was a great need in the area. The cabin provides an in-cabin master bedroom and a separate/private second master bedroom that is connected to main cabin via a scenic and idyllic breeze way patio. Each bedroom is furnished with custom built platform beds, luxury mattress, and blackout curtains to insure that your nights are as restful and peaceful as your days. The bathrooms for each of the bedrooms provide sinks with ample surface space and storage as well as both bathtub and shower accommodations. The second master suite is additionally furnished with a mini-fridge, coffee bar and barista amenities to insure all needs are met without compromising privacy.
