This condo is in a quiet area, but still located very close to the beach, restaurants, and activities! It was very clean and Bonnie is available with anything you need from answers to questions to recommendations! They provide so many extras that you only need some clothes and yourself to have a fabulous time!

Comfortable condo close to everything

First floor condo with easy access to the very nice pool and close to many great areas of beautiful St. Simon's Island. Very comfortable master bed and large walk in closet. We enjoyed the back covered deck. Residents of the complex were friendly and welcoming. The owner, Bonnie, was very responsive whenever we needed her.

Just Like Home

Our first trip to SSI was a success and such an enjoyable experience. Condo was in perfect location for quick drives wherever you wanted to go. My family and I loved the condo and its homie feel. Beds were comfortable and enough space for a family of 4 to enjoy without feeling like we were on top of each other. Unit was very clean and organized. We hope to be back soon!!

Only problem is we could not stay longer! Very nice condo, wonderfully decorated and our king bed was as good of a sleep we could only find at home! PHosts were a available for a quick question about technical TV issue. We're mature folks and not tech savvy. Love the Island, and will be back!

The perfect beach oasis

This was our first time visiting a Georgia beach and using VRBO. We had the best experience. Bonnie was extremely helpful and kind. She gave great suggestions about meals and fun. The condo was immaculate and beautifully decorated. It was so well stocked with everything you will need! The bikes are really one of the best amenities of this condo along with so many other things! We will definitely be back!

convenient location, not right at the beach

The property was clean and as listed, except parking was unclear as someone was in the space for the unit, but it was quite relaxed - so not a problem as it turns out. 11/2 baths, clean, most kitchen needs. only real issue was with communication with host. They never really responded, and luckily we were able to figure things out.

WONDERFUL SSI Villa

Loved the property, fantastic location with easy access on/off the island. You can tell that Bonnie took a lot of time to make her unit feel like a beach home. It had all we needed, truly a home away from home :-). The kitchen was well stocked, with a sweet welcome treat when we arrived. Her communication and recommendations were superb! The beds were comfortable and plenty of bath towels as well as beach towels. She offered many extras, such as chairs, umbrella, beach towels, floats and even bicycles - which we used often. I would definitely recommend her villa and will certainly return in the near future!

Dirty and Old

The unit is old and in need of an update. The pool area was littered with trash and old toys. The trash cans for many of the units sit in the parking lot right in front of the unit we rented. A little disappointed in our stay. One full bath for our family was a challenge. The beach was nice and the outdoor shower was handy for rinsing off.

Hi Matt, we take guest feedback seriously and passed your comments on to the homeowner who would like to share the following: We are saddened by this review and we're sorry to hear that you did not have the five-star experience we endeavor to provide our guests. - Cleanliness is highly important to us and we do random inspections after our cleaners leave. We have never found the condo unprepared and our cleaners are exceptional in the work they do for our guests - The condo is an end unit with a space between buildings and unfortunately they do line up trash cans for pick up but it's been our understanding that they get put away after they are emptied. We’ve never had any complaints on this and will ensure to notify the HOA - In regards to the pool, we unfortunately have no control over that however, we are aware that they treat and test the pool for safety and a clean swimming experience. All of our previous guests have enjoyed the pool area - We recognize the benefits of improving the home for a positive guest experience. Since purchasing the home in 2018, we've made any necessary repairs and painted and replaced any broken objects that were reported by our cleaners. We've updated and enclosed the outdoor shower with carpet, bench, clean towels, and robes for every booking. Everyone says the shower head is great with hot and cold water. We will inspect the front porch for any necessary maintenance - For guests to enjoy, we've built a canopy over our back porch that provides our guests with a shaded area - Once we were made aware of the internet issues during your stay, we immediately addressed the concerns, called the internet company, and the connection was resolved within an hour We have poured our hearts into this condo and have received glowing reviews from previous guests. We will inspect the condo and evaluate if anything needs freshening up but we are confident that our unit is very cozy, welcoming, comfortable, clean, and super cute! We do all we can to make the best possible stay, we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.

Clean and comfortable

The home was very clean. The bed was very comfortable, had all the amnesties needed for a months stay. There was amble enough space to relax and play cards and sit in the deck. Bonnie was available to answer questions in a timely fashion. The area kept us busy all month. The places we loved were Jekyll Island it was a beautiful serene area where you can rent bikes to ride around the island. While at Jekyell island you can get sand dollars at Dunes Beach. Amelia island, Fernandina Beach, offered a boat ride to Cumberland island where the wild horses roam. The boat ride was very informative filled with fun facts about the area. St Mary’s island offers a boat ride to for a few hours on Cumberland island. St Simons Island had a beautiful beach that you could walk on with smooth sand below your feet. St. Simons island was a quaint town to walk through with a lot of unique shops and good food. We never got bored in the months stay in the area. If we comeback I would definitely stay in this cozy home again. Thank you Bonnie allowing us to stay there.

Somewhat Dissappointing

My first impression was of dim lighting - light bulbs that were burned out - and a strobe light effect in the living room when the ceiling fan was on. The home was spacious, but not the standard of excellence that we would expect for the premium price we paid. The kitchen was sparsely equipt. The carpet in the upper level was very grimy & well-worn. The choice of everything from paper towels to dish soap was the cheapest option possible. We loved the bikes, but did not understand that we would need to rent a separate set of bikes to bike on Jekyll Island. The pool was closed by the city inspector during our visit because of a lapsed permit. This was very disappointing to our kids. We rented this condo specifically to have the pool for our children while our oldest was attending an academic competition. We expected that we would be reimbursed for the lack of being able to use the pool. Up to this point, what had been the biggest positive of our experience was our communication with our host. After we checked out, she begrudgingly refunded just a few dollars of our bill & responded with very negative text messages. An important thing to know is that the host expects her guests to do 3 loads of laundry (wash & dry cycles) before checking out prior to 10am. This includes all of the sheets, bedding, & towels. We stay at many rental properties & I have never seen such an expectation. Overall, I left this rental with a bittersweet taste in my mouth.
