Let the sound of crashing waves and pounding surf soothe your soul at “Surfside.” This classy 2 story – 3 bedroom 3 bath home (with additional den) is thoughtfully designed with a comfortable division of space that is perfect for the larger family or small group. Surfside is located on the historic 804 Trail just steps away from Smelt Sands Beach. You may explore the 1.3 mile trail either to the north or south.

Loaded with fun for all ages, Surfside is a beach lovers dream home. Our kitchen is fully furnished to prepare gourmet meals while you gather around our ocean view dining table that seats 10. Dramatic sunsets can be viewed right from the living room windows. Open the window at night and be lulled to sleep by the rhythmic sound of the surf. Kids young and old will enjoy the many amenities at Surfside including a game room complete with a Pool Table, Ping Pong, and Foosball. Relax in the hot tub after a day of exploring to top off the perfect day. There is simply no shortage of fun and discovery at Surfside!
Please note: The garage is the game room, so there is no parking available inside. Sorry pets are not allowed.

Please note: We have one photo that shows a gas fireplace. This fireplace is not operational. There is adequate heating without it and we apologize for any inconvenience.

Perfect spot with amazing views

The location is perfect very convenient to the trail, the beach, and town. Quiet neighborhood and gorgeous views out several windows. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

Perfect location

We had a wonderful GALentines weekend! We hiked from the house to the suspension bridge on Amanda’s trail, enjoyed Chai from Green Salmon, shopped local, and watched the tides hit the rocks. Location was absolutely perfect! The house layout is conducive to large groups without feeling like you’re on top of each other. Would absolutely book another stay here!

What an amazing view!

This was a retreat with the best view of the waves and ocean I’ve seen. I got to read and go to bed looking at the waves. It was therapeutic. Highly recommend!

Yachats Ocean Views

I didn't feel I could give the property a five star rating since furniture, carpets and kitchen/appliances were a little dated. However, for us, this place was perfect. Large common areas for friends and family to congregate and also large bedrooms if you need to get away from the crowd for a while. The views from the living/dining/kitchen/upstairs bedroom are alone worth the money to stay here. Oceanfront trail passes right by the house within easy walking distance to Yachats. We would definitely stay here again.

Great house needs deep clean

The house and location are fantastic. Would have been a 5 star review if I wouldn't have had to clean before we felt comfortable. Considering we pay a cleaning fee, we would assume it would have been cleaner on our arrival. Needs attention on handrails and chairs and barstools. Visibly dirty. The downstairs beds weren't comfortable. Also sad that the fireplace said non usable. But overall we loved the house. Loved the location and the tidepools right outside! Could see crashing waves form the deck, magnificent views!

Jenelle is a professional cleaner so I value her feedback. Indeed it appears the handrail and the barstools could have been cleaned better. All summer long our housekeeping staff has been working overtime in an effort to keep everyone safe due to Covid. I know each one of them takes pride in their work and has a heart for public safety. We will continue to work closely with our housekeepers as they are the backbone of our business and guest safety is our number one priority. As for the uncomfortable bed - we are looking into this as it's the first time it's been mentioned.

Great oceanfront location for the family. Plenty of room for our family of 8 with ages 2-54. We enjoyed the easy access to the beach and trails. The house was perfect for family time, dining, games, etc. Would definitely return.

Great house for a group

We all really enjoyed the house. It has everything you could possibly want. The master bedroom is very spacious as are the rest of the rooms. Some of us were a bit put off by no locks on the bathroom doors. We enjoyed the game room and the hot tub as well as the jacuzzi in the master bath. Would love to stay there again.

Need new master bed

Great location and very clean. The only negatives were the ice/water on the fridge and the fireplace didn't work and the master bed was very old, saggy and created sleep difficulties.

Thanks so much for your feedback. Guest comments just make us all better! The issue with the ice machine has been resolved. Someone simply pressed a button that turned off the ice machine. Our gas fireplace has been taken out of commission and has not been part of the amenities as described. There are ample alternative heat sources provided but I apologize if this was an amenity that you were looking forward to. As for the bed, we have not had any previous complaints so will take your comments to heart and work to make any needed changes. Thanks again!

Marvelous location! Beautiful home right on the coast, super fun with the garage game room. Would be great to have the microwave fixed but only a minor issue.
