Gulfside Cottages is a tranquil beach community lined with palm trees, a private beach access and large pool. This home at the end of a cul-de-sac is a quick 2 minute, private pathway walk from the front door to the sugary sands of the Emerald Coast! We are located across the road from outlet malls, grocery stores and restaurants or you can cook in our fully stocked kitchen! This is the perfect home for a group or a romantic getaway.

Gulfside Cottages in Destin (Miramar Beach) are highly sought after by guests. It is a 10 minute drive to 30A and located right next to Sandestin. You can walk to the local grocery, restaurants, and Silver Sands Shopping/Outlet Mall is directly across the street. Stroll over to Starbucks for your morning coffee and muffin. Play Golf at one of the many courses or enjoy some of the beach activities. Just a small taste of what we have to offer.

We set the standards high during our remodel, giving you the comforts of home while treating you to the luxurious comfort of a true beach cottage. Our three story, four bedroom, three bath, 2300 square foot home with 3rd floor gulf views will serve a family or group up to 12. Destin Sunny Side Up is perfect for entertaining a large group, with a spacious, open kitchen, dining, and family room layout. The private entrance to the beach with no streets or roads to cross is both safe and convenient for families and large groups. After your day at the beach, you can wash off using our outdoor shower.

The cottage was set up for a gourmet chef, with a fully stocked kitchen to help you serve culinary delights or even just a snack for the beach. You will also enjoy the full size utility room with washer and dryer, six (50’’+) flat screen Smart TV’s throughout the home, not to mention the wrap around decks for your morning coffee or catching up on today’s news using free, fast WiFi.

The 3rd floor tower offers a great place to lounge for kids or adults after a full day of fun! The tower offers ocean views of the Gulf. Enjoy the large flat screen Smart TV for movies, play board games, cards or the New Playstation 4 (bring your games). Or sit at the high-top table for popcorn and snacks. It really is the perfect place to unwind for the day or to entertain at night.

Home was a short walk to the beach and the neighborhood was very quiet. The community pool was well maintained and clean. The kitchen was well stocked with what you need to prepare and serve meals. We like the Miramar Beach area and would stay here again.

A great get-away

We enjoyed our extended stay at Sunny Side Up. The kitchen was well stocked for any type of cooking. The home was lovely with every detail well thought out. We had one small maintenance issue about which we contacted John and he responded promptly and arranged to have it fixed the same day. Overall, we were very pleased and plan to return.

Hey y'all this home is wonderful. It is a short walk to the beach and pool. You don't have to cross a busy road to get to the beach.Your close to all type of restaurants and shopping centers. Very clean and pet friendly. We will stay at this house again.

Location and beach access was perfect. Communication with property manager was outstanding. We had a few questions/issues and they always responded immediately. House was a little lived in and could have been a little cleaner but overall we had a great time and the house met all of our needs.

The location was good and the house provided enough space but the condition of the house was fairly dirty and worn down. Ceiling on the first floor has several water stains, 1 bedroom door had difficulty opening and closing, bunk beds are falling apart, bath towels are worn out, some of the outdoor furniture is broken, cushions are torn up and grill is on its last leg. The house could use some maintenance that would make a huge impact.

Wonderful family vacation!

From booking to checkout, we had a great experience! The home was spotless upon check in and the host was so quick to respond to our request (extra pillowcases.) The house is very close to the beach and pool. There is a lot of seating on the main floor, plenty of outdoor seating/space, and it comfortably accommodated our party of 10. The home is well appointed and includes a small shed/garage with various beach items (some chairs, umbrellas, toys, etc) We loved our stay here and highly recommend it!

Staying in this beach house made fall break better. We had lots of space. The beds were comfy. Our son loved the game room on the upper floor. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. We experienced no issues with check in/check out. Can’t wait to return.

Great week!

Our entire family (ages ranging from 5-80) had an amazing week at Sunny Side Up. The house is stocked with everything you need and more! And, if you need something, Winn-Dixie is literally a minute away. We LOVED the fact that the street is so private and quiet and the beach is super easy to access. Trishelle was always quick to respond when we had questions (where to buy local fresh fish, forgotten pool gate code). Hope we can return to SSU someday soon!

Family Holiday

Our family spent Christmas and New Years at Trishelle's beautiful home! The house is exactly as shown in the photos. The kitchen was wonderful, fully stocked with all cookware, plenty of dishes and glasses and silverware, for our party of 7. The pantry was also well stocked with spices and oils for cooking. The bedrooms were all spacious and comfortable for adults and kids alike. The beach umbrella and beach toys really made our beach visits more comfortable and fun! The location of the house is so convenient with a short and direct walk to the beach. The neighborhood is quiet and pleasant. Trishelle is a wonderful host, she always responded promptly to our questions or requests. We would definitely like to return to this gorgeous house!

Why they chose this property

We chose this property because of proximity to beach! One of the things Trishelle found most important was easy beach access, without crossing streets, driving or needing to take a golf cart. This place was perfect. Not to mention the pool and beautiful kitchen!
