Disliked: Check-in, communication
Never again!
1. The building won't allow any delivery person come to your door, not even for large grocery orders. Instead, they have Grocery Gateway dump the entire contents of your refrigerator and pantry in the lobby. You have to make several trips to get it into your unit.
2. Spotty internet
3. Our unit faced an alleyway with tons of dumpsters, which smelled so bad in summer we couldn't open the windows.
4. The alleyway had a spotlight that shined directly into our bedroom at night.
5. Several lightbulbs were out. We had to switch out working bulbs to get enough light in a room.
6. No hot water pressure in bathroom sink, so we had to shave using the bathtub.
7. Surly or useless front desk staff. When we checked out, the front desk staff was completely MIA, so we couldn't get a cart or have help opening the door.
8. At least one elevator was broken the entire time.
9. The building manager never communicated, despite leaving messages on her phone. I was always able to get hold of DelSuites but they couldn't solve any of the building-related problems.
10. Poor communication between DelSuites and building manager meant we were never able to book the gym.
11. Two pieces of furniture had to be replaced because they were broken when we arrived.
12. The few bulbs in the unit that did work were florescent. It was coma-inducing.
13. Surprise charges for having a cat, which they never told us about when we signed the contract.
14. On the website they advertise a turndown service, but that never happened.
15. Broken BBQ.
16. A washing machine in the room next to ours flooded the hallway. We had to walk through swamp carpet for a week. The hallway was torn up for more than 6 weeks because they wouldn't get the walls and baseboards to dry.
