Family of 4 approved!

The apartment was clean and had all the essential items for daily use. The kids liked the amenities the resort had to offer and us parents loved the quietness of being high up away from traffic noise. Trash and parking were very easy to find and get to. The property manager gave us a call which was nice to inform us we could check in early. Great stay all around.

Poor condition

The day I arrived I was contacted by Vacasa. I told them several issues, so e bottom rusted and falling off, clumps of dust on floor and ceiling fans, stains on sheets and air mattress, mold on floor and in freezer. I have tons of pictures to back this up. Very disappointed, I have stayed at this resort dozens of times and this was by far the most run down room.

Great location and resort, room needs some work

This location and resort is beautiful! On the ocean and a lovely boardwalk. The room needs updating. The granite coffee table was broken in pieces and the couch was broken and caved in when we sat in it. The local maintenance guy was helpful and did the best he could but there were limited things he could do about replacing furniture. He did provide us with an air mattress and Vacasa gave us options for moving to another building. We felt like the resort amenities and proximity to the beach were worth putting up with some discomfort during our stay. The apartment was clean, it just needs some attention to detail and updating of furniture and appliances.

The AC was out the entire stay.

The AC was out our entire stay. I contacted the property manager who was very helpful. She had a hvac tech come in to fix the issue but the issue was not resolved. The room never got cooler than 76 degrees. Also the sofa bed was not operational. We had to remove the mattress and lay it on the floor.

Horrible!!!!!

Couch was falling apart n we couldn’t use it. There was scheduled work on hot water and AC that we weren’t told about and we had no hot water 1 full day and no AC most of our stay. There are 2 windows but they don’t open and look out to hallway to get to the elevator. We are told we would be refunded several nights, but that never happened.

Very nice room and resort

The room was very nice. The room isn’t on the ocean but you still can see the Halifax River from the bedroom window. It was kind of a pain trying to check-in. There are two different towers to the hotel and the room is in the north tower so it is much easier if you check-in in that tower. The location is great though. It is right on the boardwalk so there’s a lot to do in the area

No windows

This deserves 0 starts. The windows in this unit looked out on the hallway. There are no windows in this unit that look to the outside. Wish I had known this at booking and I would have passed on this unit. Way overpriced for a unit with no windows. In addition there was no bedding for the pull out bed. We called the first day, did not get bedding until the next day.

Very nice location

The apartment was small and didn’t have enough kitchen utensils. The pools were amazing especially the lazy river. Location was very nice. Enjoyed our stay!

Perfect weekend getaway

This condo and resort are awesome. We loved everything about our stay. The gentleman that checked us in was friendly and super helpful. The condo was clean and nice and had everything that we needed. The pools were all fabulous and my daughter especially enjoyed the water slide and lazy river. We will definitely be back!

Not what we expected

Pictures showed ocean view & 2 bedrooms, but we got 1 bedroom with a view of a hallway. Towels were stained & were full of white fuzzies. Kitchen looked nothing like picture online that we clicked on, but everything worked & served its purpose. We wouldn’t have booked an inside room like that. We made the best of it & still had a good vacation. Someone should monitor the hot tubs. People hogged them for hours & didn’t take turns. Wyndham staff was nice & security was nice. Very grateful for Vacasa hospitality as we left my sons school iPad in the room. They are taking care of us & shipping it ASAP! Very glad it was found & they are helping us out!! Thank you!!

Wonderful week stay!

After reading the bad reviews on the Wyndham Ocean Walk I was very nervous about what our week stay would be like. Everything was surprisingly amazing from check in to check out. The entire facility was buzzing with smiling, happy families and employees. We loved the fact that there was so much in walking distance to do. My son loved all the pools and kid activities. They have a list of activities for kids, moms and the entire family throughout the day. Most are free but some have a small fee. Even though this is a timeshare facility, we never once were approached with a spill of buying. Unit 2424B is exactly as described. Nothing fancy but meets all the needs to make your stay feel as if you were at home. There is no ocean view from the unit but the view of the river is beautiful. The pull-out couch is pretty much only suitable for a child. It could use an upgrade. Other than that we were extremely happy with our stay and plan to visit again soon!

Good sleeping quarters

The "B" unit is good for additional sleeping space for the "A" unit, but the B unit is not a particularly good stand-alone rental. The view from the B unit looks through the hallway and out the back side of the building, so it doesn't really have any view at all. The resort amenities and the beach are excellent.
