We loved our recent family holiday - Thanks to Lyndee for your hospitality, we felt welcome right from the start of our holiday. Amazing house! Kids loved the pool!
Amazing hosts and very accommodating for family. Pure and genuine Red Centre experience of Alice Springs and the natural surroundings. Beautiful accommodation with a vintage touch and spacious lounge areas. Highly recommended!
I booked this house for my family and I two years ahead of time for the Finke Desert Race. I paid in full two years before the booking. I received many confirmation emails from the host and Stayz. On the day of check in there were other guests in the house, who had only made their booking one year earlier. The host had double booked the house with a private booking. And left my family and I with nowhere to stay in Alice Springs on the busiest weekend of the year. I paid $4700 2 years earlier and I have still not received my refund. My advice is to stay away from this property.

Response from VrboOwner on 1 July 2023
Tamara's experience was not what we want for our visitors. There was an issue where the VRBO system did not talk to our booking system correctly, which results in a double booking. Unfortunately, I could not fix that. I know they were very upset and this terrible issue had a big impact on their stay in Central Australia. Our offer to assist finding other accommodation was not accepted. Property owners do not receive their payments until after the visitor arrives, these prepayments stay with VRBO until that time. The refund, through VRBO, was processed on the 7/6/23, so I have no idea why Tamara has not yet received her refund from them. I have contacted VRBO to see what is causing this delay, as I would suggest Tamara do as well. We can only apologise, again, for the mix up that caused these problems for Tamara and her family.
