Exceptionally charming stone-built cottage with its own swimming pool and garden, just 3 minutes drive from the hill-top village of Gordes, one of the most beautiful villages in France. South-oriented and situated in a
very peaceful hamlet, this cottage is pleasantly and comfortably furnished, and has views beyond the garden of cypress trees on the foothills of the Luberon mountains. There is an open plan living room/dining room with big sliding glass doors opening onto a terrace and the swimming pool. The kitchen area is fully equipped. Nicely furnished double bedroom (160cm x 200cm) and an ensuite shower room with walk-in shower and wc. A baby bed is also available if needed.

To visit: Gordes and the Bories village (5mn),
Roussillon and its ochre-streaked earth (10mn), the SĂ©nanque Abbey (15mn), hill-top villages (10mn), Avignon (30mn), Parc national des calanques by the Mediterranean Sea (1h30) ...

We really enjoyed our stay at the Petit Bastidon. The house is perfect for two people and very lovingly furnished. The garden is also beautiful and invites to relax. All is very clean. Once a week the house as well as the pool were cleaned. The landlord was always available and very helpful.

We stayed here for one week and loved this little gem of a property. Jean-Marie gave us a warm welcome and was exceptionally helpful in assisting us during our stay. Perfect cottage stay in Provence!

The cottage was absolutely perfect for our trip to Provence. The location was very central to surrounding towns, ideal for sightseeing and relaxing in a beautiful area. The cottage was super clean and cosy, had all the amenities we needed. The host was very welcoming and helpful for recommendations or where to go and eat. Would definitely recommend this cottage for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway to Provence!

Exceptional Provencal Experience

Best VRBO ever! Combined with a wonderful, helpful and discreet host who was nearby if needed, but gave us complete privacy, this beautifully appointed cottage is a gem. A lovely villa in a charming portion of the Provence countryside. The interior is very nicely done out, plenty spacious enough for two, with a small but modern cooking area that is perfectly adequate to cook simple evening meals for one or two persons (note there is no oven, although the microwave has oven and grill functions). The garden in particular is a delight: beautifully laid out with honey-stone walls and olive trees, and the pool is gorgeous. A small herb garden is an added bonus for any home cooks.

Delightful immaculately clean property with well kept private garden and pool in a stunningly beautiful area of Provence with several of The Most Beautiful Villages of France nearby. Charming and helpful host. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday finding various restaurants in the places we visited which included local villages, Pont d'Avignon and Pont du Gard as well as a long distance visit to the Camargue Ornithological Park to see the flamingos.

Le Petit Bastidon is a really private, tranquil spot in a great location for exploring the region. The garden and pool enjoy sunshine all day. Jean-Marie was extremely helpful in assisting with local knowledge and organising a Taxi to Gordes Resteraunts. The accomodation is very comfortable and well equipped, perfect for 2. Perfect Home Away from Home in Provence!

We stayed in this beautiful home for three nights while exploring the South of France. The house was so lovely and the grounds were like a dream! It was wonderful for everyone to be able to relax during long afternoons by the pool, enjoy fresh dinners under twinkling lights in the garden, and sleep peacefully in the comfortable house. The location was perfect for exploring the Luburon region - adorable and fascinating villages with great restaurants and wineries (Gordes village - is a must stop). We could also explore so much of Provence in our car as almost all of the towns we wanted to visit were close enough for easy day trips. Definitely recommend! 10/10. Thank you for the wonderful stay.

Wir haben eine Woche in diesem wunderschönen Ferienhaus verbracht. Der Garten bietet viele RĂŒckzugsorte und ist schön angelegt. Es gibt auch einen tollen KrĂ€utergarten. Das Haus selbst ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Es bietet genug Platz fĂŒr 2 Personen. Und natĂŒrlich der Pool, der in diesen heißen Tagen immer eine Erfrischung bot. Perfekt.

Ein Traum

Wir waren bisher DauergĂ€ste in Italien. Dieses Jahr wollten wir mal nach Frankreich und habe ein entsprechendes Haus fĂŒr 2 Personen gesucht und gefunden. Die Beschreibungen des Hauses und die Bewertungen deuteten ja auf ein Highlight hin. Die RealitĂ€t ĂŒbertraf aber alles, was wir erwartet hatten. Das Haus mit dem Pool direkt vor dem Wohnbereich ist von der Aufteilung, der Ausstattung und der Sauberkeit ein Traum. Der Garten mit den alten BĂ€umen bietet zu allen Tageszeiten schattige PlĂ€tzchen und vor allem den ganzen Tag eine himmlische Ruhe zum Genießen und Erholen. Der ĂŒberaus freundliche und charmante Luc hat uns viele Tips und RatschlĂ€ge fĂŒr Besichtigungen und Restaurants gegeben. Er hat uns auch viel ĂŒber die französische MentalitĂ€t und Eigenheiten der Franzosen und der französischen LebensqualitĂ€t erzĂ€hlt. Der Luberon bietet viele SehenswĂŒrdigkeiten und Erlebnisse. Man könnte hier noch seitenlang die positiven EindrĂŒcke weiterbeschreiben. Eines ist sicher. Luc und das Le Petit Bastidon werden uns wiedersehen.
