Old Home with a lot of “Quick Fixes” and Mold
Completely and totally not impressed! Upon seeing the property the curb appeal was reminiscent of an abandon house. Upon entering the dwelling the immediate smell of mold was present! The shower head in the master bathroom wasn’t tight and sprayed water on the tile floor. Our five year old slipped and fell in the water and luckily wasn’t injured. I hand tightened the head to stop the spray. The shower heads sprayed in a manner similar to being hit with a pressure washer! It was necessary to hold a wash cloth over the head to keep from hurting the skin of the young children. Most of the windows in the dwelling were open when we arrived, presumably to air out the mold smell. Also there was an absurdly ridiculous amount of air fresheners throughout the house, presumably to mask the mold smell. When I went to close the windows that first night the filth from dead bugs was astonishing! After the first night of what was supposed to be a three night stay we made the decision to relocate to a hotel and spend the additional money. The biggest deciding factor was the smell of mold and the potential respiratory effects on our family, primarily two young children. We would stay in a tent in the park before staying in this house again!!! Highly unsatisfied!!
