Sakusen Kaikan was built in the early 1980's, and the building is made of Japanese wood. The original owner used it as a home, but after we were requisitioned in 2016, it was converted into a guest house. Cherry blossoms bloom in April every year, and hundreds of cherry blossoms surround Aikan, creating a beautiful view. As the ultimate hideaway nestled in nature, where you can enjoy the scenery of the four seasons of the Sakusen Kaikan, we promise a relaxing time.

Oukai villa was so special. We arrived at Izumi chuo station and had shuttle ready for us to head straight to villa. They made it so easy on us. All of the members were amazing they made our honey moon fun. Not only that, they were so welcoming and so kind. Answered any questions we had.We loved our dinners and our breakfasts. All food was delicious and tasted so fresh. If you’re on the fence about this stay I highly recommend it, you will not be disappointed
When we first got here, it was really far from everything. We weren’t sure how we would travel because we are from America and we did not drive. The host made sure that our travels to the train station was accommodated for and we had food by taking us to the super markets. They drove us to every place we needed to around the central area of the villa.
They made our stay amazing. We felt that we were taking advantage of them but they made sure to let us know that we were not taking advantage of them but it was hospitality.
We did not know Japanese but we used google translate for our conversations.
The host and team were were so kind. It felt like we were old friends meeting up again. The villa was beautiful and relaxing.
When we visit Japan again we will be visiting this villa again. It really felt like a home/family.
Host, workers, and place was amazing. Respect the place, respect the people, and you will have an amazing time here!
