Located just 1 block from downtown Loudonville, The Kimton House offers parks, shops, eateries, cultural attractions, nightlife, churches, and lots of recreation all within walking distance. After a long day of canoeing, hiking and biking, enjoy an evening of sitting on the front porch watching the end of a good day go by. The Kimton House offers one theme, Relax. Watch your favorite movie, program or game on a 50' plasma TV while kicking back on an overstuffed couch or loveseat. Or, play a good card game in the library with your closest circle of friends or family. Better yet, if food is your passion, Kimton's full kitchen and dining room is sure to please. Time for bed? Retire to one of Kimton's upstairs bedrooms, all of the bedrooms have queen sized beds with sateen sheets. Both full bathrooms, having a shower AND bathtub, are found upstairs as well.

MTB weekend

Great location, just one block from Main St. The house was clean, quiet and well appointed. The owner was exceptionally responsive to all inquiries. My guests and I would highly recommend this property.

Spacious and comfortable house right off Main St.

If you’re staying in Loudonville, you can’t beat this house. It had everything you’d need and plenty of room. It was even bigger than I expected from the listing.

We were staying for a 3 day music festival we were attending and wanted a quiet place to relax after the show every night. The house was perfect! Plenty of space & the original charm was beautiful. The host was very responsive to anything I needed.

Property is a beautiful restored old home. Sitting right off main street with easy walking to shops and restaurant. Kim is wonderful to work with. Our 2nd time to book with her while in town for an event

Beautiful older home

The house is older but very clean and well decorated.It creeks in spots but nothing we minded.It has a small fire pit we used and liked and also a small grill.We stayed in that area to be near a canoe place. We stayed in town so we could walk to places.Very nice little town. We ended up going to Mohican adventures. It was busy but quick to get us launched. I would surely recommend you stay here. The host was very welcoming.

Great place to stay in Mohican area!

The house is remodeled and in great condition; clean and well kept. The bedrooms are good sized with big closets. Bathrooms are nice with plenty of room. Common areas have plenty of space for relaxing or entertaining. Location is great with restaurants, shops, and canoeing within walking distance and nights are quiet. We plan on renting again.

Great house!

This house is wonderful! It looked good in pictures but Was great in person. It was clean, roomy, comfortably furnished and well equipped. Kim the property manager was very accommodating and easy to reach prior to and during our stay. We were so satisfied that we requested another stay for the following year before we left.

Nice Stay in Loudonville

This is a clean property with interesting architectural characteristics. Parking was no problem. The house has a lot of natural light, and plenty of comfortable seating around tables and in the living room. All of the household essentials were available and easy to locate. The neighborhood is walkable and the town is cute. There is a gas station close by, and a range of restaurant options.

Excellent Rental

The host Kim was excellent and responded quickly to our questions. This is an older style home completely restored with large rooms and high ceiling, Kim also did an excellent job staging the home to match the era it was built, which I believe was 1899. The home offered everything our family needed to enjoy a week in Ohio visiting family. The homes location was quiet and walking distance to the coffee and ice cream shop in historic Loudonville. It also offer short drives to Berlin and Mount Vernon. I highly recommend this home and would stay again.

Wonderful property for large groups

We elected to stay at this really charming rental since it was 1. Convenient to Mansfield for a concert we were attending and 2. Can accommodate eight people. This house has copious amounts of space to take care of all of us. Plenty of linens and other amenities to make us feel at home. In addition, this is centrally located for easy runs to the market (IGA), as well as walking distance to Taco Bell for emergency 4th meals. The neighborhood is inviting and quiet at night. Slept soundly the whole time we were there. The only thing we noticed was the upstairs does get warm during the summer time (even with the downstairs thermostat set to 68), so keep the bedroom doors open for extra circulation. The property owner was very prompt in answering our questions and also accommodating to our requests. We couldn't have asked for a nicer place for our weekend festival getaway. Should our travels take us back to Ohio, we would stay here again in a heartbeat.
