Betty was at the apartment awaiting our arrival and even helped us carry our luggage upstairs. She also had a lovely dinner and enough items to make our first breakfast on hand.

Appartement avec une super vue.Très bon accueil des propriétaires.Pour l'arrivée, rhum; jue de fruit ; eau ;et victuailles nous attendaient.Il faut avoir des amis pas grands pour la chambre à l'étage.Les plages de la pointes du bout sont accessibles à pieds en 20mn, sinon la plage de l'anse Mitan est à 3mn toujours à pieds

Merci Alberte et Germain pour votre accueil ! A notre arrivée un bon repas nous attendait dans le four, du riz ainsi qu’un flan coco dans le frigo. Des fruits, boissons, lait, pain, beurre, confiture, œufs… étaient fournis pour le petit déjeuner du lendemain. Appartement bien équipé très fonctionnel avec une très belle vue (3 chambres dont un mini appartement à l’étage avec une 2eme salle de bain et télé). La plage est très proche et agréable (accessible en 5mn à pied maximum en descente). Plein d’accessoires utiles à disposition (glacière, parasol…). Parfait pour une famille de 4

J’ai passé un super séjour début janvier, l’accueil et l’emplacement au top ! Des propriétaires très à l’écoute et disponibles si besoin (nous avons quelques galères de voyage mais rien à voir avec le logement ;) Nous avons eu la piscine bien entretenue pour nous tout seul à chaque fois ;), la vue est superbe !!! Des vacances de rêve...

Cet appartement est situé de façon remarquable . Sur les hauteurs de l'anse Mitan aux trois ilets, il bénéficie d'une vue panoramique sur la baie de fort de France et de la Pointe du Bout. Un festival de lumière de jour comme de nuit.Appartement bien conçu, où il ne manque rien. Pièces et chambres spacieuses et confortables.Quartier calme, à quelques encablures de la plage et des commerces. Piscine partagée avec les autres locataires, mais très fréquentale...l'idéal pour ma petite fille, mais pour nous aussi. Le lieu de séjour rêvé, avec des propriétaires eux aussi idéaux... à refaire sans modération.

An Absolute Delight

Alberte and Germain were exceptional hosts, and the property was absolutely delightful. Our hosts went to great lengths to make us feel welcome. For example, when we arrived earlier than intended, and asked if we might be able to leave our luggage until the previous renter checked out, they suggested leaving the luggage at their personal home. Since they'd established good communications with us in advance via both VRBO and WhatsApp, this was straightforward, and very much appreciated. We were expecting a message to come get our luggage at check-in time, but were pleasantly surprised when they let us know the property was ready - and that our luggage was already there waiting for us. When we checked in, our hosts welcomed us with ti punches, appetizers, and a lovely chicken curry dinner - all completely unexpected and very welcome. The property itself is a delight as well - the view is spectacular. The porch quickly became the center of activity, and the motorized shades were extremely useful in keeping the place cool. The loft is quirky and fun, and the porch hammock as well. And the kitchen was stocked well enough with tools (we provided the ingredients) that we were able to cook several meals there, something not always possible with rentals. I will miss the lazy afternoons in the hammock, ti punch in hand, watching the storms march across the bay.

grand logement avec 3 vraies chambres. Idéalement situé avec une vue magnifique sur la baie. Facile d'accès, parking privé et tout le nécessaire. A million dollar view!

We had an absolutely fantastic vacation in Martinique and throughly enjoyed our stay in Alberte's apartment. I will start with the Alberte. After a long flight from NY (we were delayed 2 hours at JFK), we arrived to Martinque well past our original check-in time. Alberte and her husband were in the apartment (10 PM at night), waiting to show us around. They greeted us with warm, delicious food and left eggs, juice, milk, bread and local jam for the morning. It was such a nice touch! We felt immediately welcomed and at home. During the week, Alberte was so responsive to any questions we had and is fluent in English (which was a major plus since my husband and I do not speak French). She gave us suggestions on places to visit, restaurants, and local stores. They could not have been any nicer. We were so lucky to have found this place! The apartment itself has 3 comfortable bedrooms with air-conditioning. We only used it at night as there was a wonderful breeze that filled the rooms and kept the apartment very comfortable. As you can see from the pictures, there are 2 storm doors that open the apartment to the view. Every morning, it was such a treat to wake up and drink coffee while looking out on the sailboats and kite surfers. We traveled with my MIL and 3 kids (ages 8-16) so we equally enjoyed the view at night when the island was lit up with lights. We watch a lot of House Hunters on HDTV and my kids kept looking outside and saying "It's a million dollar view"! Martinique is a French speaking country. We literally only met 2 families our entire week that spoke English as their first language. Make sure that you have a google translator app on your phone and it is helpful to try to learn a couple of French phrases. We found the local people to be so warm and helpful. As soon as we tried to speak a little French, they would try to speak whatever English they knew. When I travel, I really want to be immersed in the culture so the language barrier just added to the adventure! The beaches are spectacular and untouched. If you venture to Anse Dufour, you will see sea turtles (not to be touched). There is a small restaurant to buy food and bathrooms. Anse Noire has black sand and is very secluded. Bring lunch and there are no bathrooms. The beach in Sainte-Anne (Grande Anse des Salines) is worth the trip. Grande Anse du Diamant was a family favorite. I hope to come back and will definitely stay with Alberte again!

Les propriétaires sont sympathiques, disponibles, réactifs, ils accueillent les nouveaux arrivants avec un repas savoureux, nous avons eu avec eux des rapports très cordiaux. Mais nous ne comprenons pas que la totalité des avis publiés sur cette location aient pu tous obtenir la note maximum de 5. Il nous est difficile de les croire tous sincères et véritables.
