Nice oasis in Vero Beach

Our 1 month stay was relaxing and enjoyable. The dogs enjoyed stalking bunnies and lizards in the fenced, grassy, private backyard and watching the great blue heron and various fish from the dock on a secluded canal. We even caught/released a few catfish! The owner was quick to fix a TV outage so we could watch the final weeks of the NFL season. It was an easy walk to a nice, wide beach where fishermen tried to catch pompano, and several restaurants (Trattoria Dario was fabulous). It was a longer walk or short drive to the tourist shopping/dining area with a Saturday farmers market. The beds were comfortable and the house was generally clean (floors needed mopping and a/c filters needing changing though). We had hoped to use the pool and kayaks…but the unheated pool was too chilly over our Dec-Jan stay, and the kayaks apparently drifted away before our arrival. The road out front is quite busy and there is a nearby construction project, but this did not mar our stay. Overall a great experience and we would gladly return.

Perfect place to ride a bike and go to the beach, directly access from the house to the boat ramp and boat slip, big pool facing the water canal, gated property with beautiful tropical garden.
Very close to the beautiful Beach Town.!!!
Orlando (Disney and Universal studios ) only one hour driving.
