A one-bedroom, one-bath apartment on the 2nd floor of a house (accessible only by stairs). It’s in a fenced and gated property with a private and secured driveway and private entrance.

The apartment includes: a queen size bed, a bathroom, full kitchen, TVs, and balconies, off- street parking is with a gate and a lock. Guests will also have a private entrance to the apartment.

We’re in Roosevelt Park neighborhood. We’re within walking distance to the river walk extension, Freetail Brewing Company, Roosevelt Park that had facilities such as public swimming pool (open only in summer time), basketball courts, barbecue pits, club house, etc.

We’re downtown living. Expect some noise from traffic, train, early morning joggers, and neighborhood dogs. We provide EARPLUGS and SLEEP MASKS for our light sleeper guests.

Two Nights Stay in March 2024

Great place to stay with clear checkin instructions. Place is clean and walking distance to San Antonio river pathway. There is a full kitchen, living-room and separate bedroom.

Amazing!

Everything about this stay was amazing! The house was beautiful and so clean. The check in process was super easy and any questions we had were answered almost immediately. We are definitely returning to San Antonio and I hope this place is available when we do! The location was perfect. Only 5 or 10 minutes from anything we wanted to do. Absolutely wonderful stay!

A lovely spot to stay

We enjoyed our stay. We especially loved the decor. The location is very close to downtown, but in a very quiet neighborhood. There is a train track nearby, but they rarely blew their horns while passing. The one drawback was that the bed wasn't the most comfortable bed to sleep in unfortunately. If you're used to beds that are on the harder side you will definitely enjoy your stay.

What Trains?

First night felt like a train running through property but by 2nd night both me and spouse slept soundly through the night. Place has charm. Close to Riverwalk and BCycle station. Used them extensively!

Great getaway

My husband and I exhibited at a convention last month. Because it was a last minute decision, all the hotel rooms were no longer available at a discounted rate. We found this place for significantly less money and it worked perfectly for our needs. We liked the parking in dedicated locked spot. The place was very clean and homey.

Great SA experience

Location was great for us. We parked our car in the driveway and then mostly walked/biked (and a tiny bit of Lyft) for 3 days. Easy access to pedal assist bikes on river for mission trail and downtown/riverwalk access. Fun and eclectic decor! There is a train track nearby (but train doesn't whistle that we heard.) It.does rumble/rattle off and on during the night. (We always bring a white noise machine with us whenever we stay in a new place) We really enjoyed our stay!

I would like to keep my review to myself just so I can gatekeep but I have to give credit where credit is due. This place literally healed the little girl in me. I fell in love wit SA allover again due to this character of this place and the location. Waking up to the sun shinning through the almost celling to ground windows. Drinking my morning coffee on the balcony to just enjoying the sunset and the view of downtown from the balcony, I will absolutely be back and hope it heals the next people like it did me. LOVEEEE!

Great escape

We had a wonderful time! The apartment was very clean and had all the necessities! After each day’s adventures we went back to a beautiful nesting/resting place! It was located close to many things! We would definitely return!

Great stay!

First approach, looked a little scary to my son but I love old houses. It was peaceful (except for train, but didnt bother us). Only thing I did not like was the gate, having to get out, unlock and open... in and out. I would suggest getting an automatic gate for safety reasons. Neighborhood was quiet with old and remodeled house. Very convenient to everything.

Weekend visit with college student

This was a great place to stay- just 10 minutes from Trinity and within 15-20 minutes of all the shopping we wanted to do. This is the cutest place I have stayed with lots of bright colors and so much character. Will definitely look to stay again for future visits.

Great, clean apartment.

The house/apartment is nicer than the pictures. Very cute and nicely decorated. Safe with a locked gate. Great communication from hosts. Can walk to Alamodome and Riverwalk…about 1.24 mile but strait shot. Would stay again.

River walk

Older home but clean and had everything we needed. Very convenient and walking distance to the River walk. Highly recommend. The train noise didn’t bother us. Would stay here again if in the area.

Great home away from home

This was a great place to stay! The location is close to the downtown area, historic sites, and is centrally located to everything we wanted to do in San Antonio. We were aware of the train and brought a noise machine which really helped along with the ear plugs the owner provided. We would definitely stay here again!!

Great property.

This was a clean, well appointed suite. We enjoyed staying here. The neighborhood is older and and shabby in spots. We appreciated having a gated spot to put our car in the evenings. We would definitely stay here again.
