Across The Street From #1 Beach

The Siesta Key Beach Cottage is located right on Beach Rd directly across the street from the #1 Beach in the USA. Walk out the front door and walk across the street to beach access #7 and you are on the white powder Beach of Siesta Key. You can look out the front window and see the Beach Access #7 sign.

If your looking for some lunch after a day at the beach walk out the front door of The Siesta Key Beach Cottage and head right up to the Village. There you will find any type of food you can imagine. If the sun has made you thirsty there are plenty of options to grab your favorite cocktail while listening to live music while sitting outside.

Take the beach cruiser bikes provided at the Beach Cottage and bike down to the north end of the beach. There you will reach an old concrete pier you can walk out on and watch sunset. Beach Cruisers are the best way to get around. Park the car and throw away the keys. Walk or bike around the Key........leave the car at the Beach Cottage!!!!

Cottage Remodeled in 2011 & 2025
The Siesta Key Beach Cottage was completely remodeled in 2011 and again in 2025. Everything inside was replaced with new.....everything. The back pavered deck is enclosed by a wood fence. Inside has white washed painted cypress walls and ceiling. New flooring installed throughout. All new windows. All kitchen appliances we replaced. Quartz kitchen counter. Bathroom has tile floor, enclosed glass shower with tile wall and floor, and sink. The walls and ceiling are cypress throughout the whole cottage. California King bed and mattress. Two flat screen TV's were installed. This Beach Cottage renovation still kept the nautical decor and design and conserved that beachy laid-back feeling to it.
This is not a condo........it is a Beach Cottage!!!!!

Check out our other property ID #964225 only a couple buildings away. This cottage we purchased in 2026 and did a complete renovation. Everything is new throughout the whole cottage.

My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon and it was great. We live in the rocky mountains so it was nice to be so close to a beach and the ocean. Everything at the property was exactly as described in the listing. We loved it and hope to stay again some day.

Siesta Key July 2024

This was our 3rd year staying in Dave's properties. As always, great property and great host. The location cannot be beat. The cottage is perfect, and Dave provides everything. We have already booked next year.

We are the owners of the Siesta Key beach cottage. We recently moved to Sarasota on 5 acres with our 6 rescue dogs. Dave is from Michigan and Tricia from Missouri

Why they chose this property

Dave has been coming to Siesta Key his whole life. He lived on the Key right out of college from 94 to 97. When Dave met Tricia they would drive up to Siesta Key for long weekend vacations. Then in 2010 the beach cottage went up for sale and the Kessel's made it theirs.

What makes this property unique

One of the main benefits of the beach cottage is location. You can walk every where. The beach is across the street The Village is around the corner. Another benefit is the unit itself. It is continually updated inside. From towels to dishes to furniture.

We personally clean the cottage after each guest....deep clean. We do not hire a cleaning company. The cottage is spotless when you arrive.
