Friendly Rural Retreat

A roomy cottage, rural in outlook yet so close to town!

Your home away from home has everything you need to be able to just turn up with your clothes and some food, relax and enjoy.

A large open plan living area, with good flow to the outdoor decking where you will find seating for 8 at the round table.
Fully equipped kitchen with an oven and a half, dishwasher, fridge/freezer complete with ice maker and chilled, filtered water.
Full laundry facilities.
Unlimited wifi including Disney and Netflix available on the Smart TV.

Access to an above ground swimming pool, home orchard and fresh garden supplies (season dependent).
All linens and bedding included. Beds made for your arrival.
Cleaning included.
Consumable kitchen basics provided, including tea, coffee, sugar, small milk, some spreads and farm fresh eggs when available.
Bassinet/Cot avail on request.
Possibility for horse grazing/dog kenneling by prior arrangement.
Cottage property shares with family home.
There are 2 dogs on the property that will be kenneled while you are on site.
We have 3 cats, that do as they please, and various foul that have their own coup.

When booking there will be no extra or surprise charges outside of this platforms fees. Cleaning is included. You can book up to 6 guests with no extra charge or charges for children. No extra charges for pets.

Although rural quite close to Hastings wineries and easy drive elsewhere. Perfect for our purposes and kind to dogs. Thanks for a restful and quiet stay.

What a wonderful tiny home!

What a wonderful tiny home! Very tidy and lovely cottage equipped with everything we need. We had a great stay at Krystal's place. She was great to deal with, super friendly, helpful, and quick to respond. This lovely place looks more spacious than it does in the pictures. Everything is neat & tidy and the perfect place for a staycation or a little escape from the city. We would highly recommend this wonderful cottage.

Even better than pictured

I bumped them down to a 4 for accuracy of online listing because it is even better than pictured. Normally places aren't as good as the photos but this is the opposite. Huge kitchen and bathroom, great lounge, dining and deck. Great places to play for the kids and a couple of short interesting walks to feed horses, see miniature horses and alpacas. Will definately go again next time we are in town.

Really enjoyed our stay! Lovely hosts who go out of your way to make sure you have a wonderful stay. Place is perfect for pets and kids (the skate ramp was a hit). Warm and cozy, little touches everywhere to make you feel welcome … quality and care everywhere. To sum it up we extended our stay - thanks for having us :)
