About this property

The 1100 square foot chalet has three bedrooms and two baths. One bedroom is a queen, the second bedroom is also a queen, and the third bedroom has three singles. There are two full baths and an open living room. There is a fully stocked kitchen ready for you to prepare homemade meals. The large screened in porch has a gas grill and a tiki bar.

There is a nice backyard with plenty of room for children to play or to sit around a relaxing campfire.

This chalet is located in a private association with a large screened in porch you will find very relaxing after a day of hiking, boating, skiing in the Adirondacks.

Inverted Wakeboard and Waterski School and Loon Lake Marina are located on the lake. The chalet has access to the hundred of miles of snowmobile trails and is just 1/4 mile from C & C Snowmobile Tours. It is 12 miles from the Gore Mountain Ski area and 18 miles from the beautiful Lake George. The Loon Lake Beach is just 1/4 mile away.

Please remember this is the ADKs and bugs are prevalent. Keep windows and doors closed to minimize bugs in the cottage.

There are video cameras on the deck of the property to ensure safety. These are only on the outside of the house and visible to guests.

A wonderful cabin in the woods by the lake

My husband and I spent a wonderful three weeks at Blue Loon Retreat. The cabin was very clean. The beds are comfortable, the air conditioning worked well, and there is a generator if power is lost during a storm. This happened when we were there. Cathy and Craig were extremely responsive to our needs. The kitchen is well-equipped with some empty cupboard space for any items we bought. It's in the perfect location as it was easy to get to several restaurants in the area. We highly recommend OP Frederick (open on Sunday nights) as well as The Place (open on Monday nights). But get there early as they're the only places open those nights. Bullhouse and The Odd Duck are very good in Chestertown. A short ride up the northway to Schroon Lake for pizza at Sticks and Stones. And lots of hiking trails in the area as well.

Gore Mountain Ski Trip

We were so happy we chose this property. Everything was perfect, the house had everything we needed and was in a great location. The owers were excellent aswell and the property was very well maintained and clean. .
