My grandparents, with the help of the extended family, built their home from the foundation up located not too far from here in the Adirondacks with the interior being wood. The first-time walking into my place reminded me of their beautiful home and instantly gave me the feeling of being home once again. It also helps to remind me that you should never forget where you come from and to always be grateful for the blessings you have in your life. It helps me to remember all the fun times our family had growing up doing the simplest things together as a family.
In the time that I purchased to now, my family has all helped to make it the home you see today as they each had a hand in it. Tremendous thought went into every detail, not matter how great or small, to make it feel like home for not just my family but yours as well. Examples are the outlets/light covers in the bear or moose room, pictures that I took of the local areas, or the painting that my mom did that is hanging in the living room in hopes that others are able to experience the feeling of "home".
The vision I had when I purchased the property was to create a place that family and friends can come and enjoy the place as much as I do each and every time I come here. My wish is that others are able to come and make memories like I had growing up. In a world of technology and craziness, this is a place to come and reconnect, to build stronger relationships with your loved ones or simply "just be" and enjoy living in the moment. Life is so short and often times we take our time together for granted....
