We had a great stay at this beautiful house! Loved the deck that overlooked water, and enjoyed walking the property and finding remote beach. Excellent place to stay and just enjoy the outdoors.

We are four best friends who are 75 in age and were impressed with how easy it was to check in and how accurate the pictures of house were and how clean and beautiful the kitchen and all the appliances were. I would recommend this listing and I give it a 10 out of 10. The host couldn't be more helpful and always answered my questions very quickly. We stayed 3 nights 4 days and loved every minute of it...

We were in the area to go tubing down the Hudson. This place was a bit off the beaten trail, but it was absolutely beautiful and comfortable. The place, itself, was very nicely decorated and had all the necessary modern amenities. The walk to the firepit was worth it and my husband had no trouble driving his F250 down there to drop off the firewood. We totally enjoyed our weekend at the river and would definitely10/10 recommend

Wonderful forest retreat with a stunning porch view. Clean and accurate to the posting and further from the road than it appeared which was nice because you weren't hearing the limited road traffic. Secluded, yet a short drive to town and shopping. The arcade game, ping pong and air hockey, were a nice touch for when rain kept us inside. The host was east to deal with and I would recommend this to anyone. One note, there is a bit of a walk through a forested trail to the fire pit, which if you have physical limitations may be a challenge.

We had a blast! The house was spotless upon arrival, and the kitchen was extremely well-stocked—they truly thought of everything. We loved spending our time exploring the trails, floating down the clear river, and relaxing by the fire pit.A few helpful notes for future guests:The terrain: It’s a scenic 3-minute walk down a steep hill to the fire pit and about an 8-minute walk to the river beach. It’s great exercise, but something to keep in mind!Cooling: Only 1 of the 3 bedrooms has its own AC unit. It took a while for the living room AC and the single bedroom AC to cool down the other rooms (even with all bedroom doors left open). The game room was a nice bonus, though we spent most of our stay outside at the river or fire pit enjoying the peaceful setting. Overall, a lovely area and a great stay!

The cute little house has a lot to offer. The balcony and double shower heads in one of the showers were the cherries on top. The big couch was super comfy. Even though the weather wasn't ideal for sitting out there, we did do some star gazing on the balcony, which was amazing. Close enough to Lake George and Fort Ticonderoga but tucked away enough in the mountains to be away from crowds and business. We walked down to the river and saw deer tracks but never saw deer. If we're ever back in the LG area we would definitely stay here again. Josh was quick to communicate with.
