Luxurious lakeview home just steps away from 500 feet of deeded beach access. Welcome to The Sand Castle! This five bedroom, 3.5 bathroom home is spacious and immaculately furnished both inside and out. The main floor features a fully stocked chef's kitchen perfect for those who love to cook. Dining table seats eight plus an additional six at kitchen island. Several gathering areas to kick back and relax with amazing lake views! Spacious screened-in porch with gas fireplace is perfect for socializing or just having that morning cup of coffee. Family room has big screen TV and seats six or more.

One bedroom on main floor with queen bed and full bathroom next door. The second floor has four bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king bed with an en suite bathroom. Two bedrooms each have two twin beds and the last bedroom has one queen and one twin. Two full bathrooms are on the second floor. Roast smores under the stars with the outdoor beach firepit or cook on your gas grill while watching the sun set over the lake. Lots of space for your whole group to relax and play.

All the amenities you would expect in a quality rental including internet, washer/dryer, central AC/heat, gas grill, outdoor beach firepit, screened-in porch, lake views and more.

Great stay at the SandCastle

We had a great time in Union Pier. It's just north of New Buffalo but without any crowds. The house is in a very mellow, quiet neighborhood and overlooks the ocean. Had some epic sunsets on the deck and at the beach, which just down the steps from the back porch. House is as advertised, well done, feels very much like a family beach home. The kitchen is great, has most anything you'd need for meal prep for a smaller or larger group. We had small children and elderly parents in our group and the house accommodated everyone equally well. Would certainly recommend this property, and look forward to returning ourselves.

Sand Castle Retreat

This house was unbelievable! Jason and Trish of Bluefish were also amazing to work with and were super accommodating! After cancelling our wedding, my wife and I were able to "celebrate" our marriage with our parents and siblings over this past weekend all together in Union Pier at the Sand Castle. The house and property were amazing, and we had the best time (even on a super rainy/stormy day on Saturday we posted up in the screened-in porch with a fire and had an amazing day!). Thank you Bluefish and everyone involved with the Sand Castle!

Family and Friends gather for a Fall Wedding

Our family and friends enjoyed a wonderful weekend at this beautiful house for a nearby wedding. The house is absolutely lovely with main floor spacing carefully thought out for entertaining and socializing with large groups. The kitchen island and dining table allowed many people to congregate comfortably to enjoy snacks and meals. The open space for the family room that flowed into the kitchen but off to the side near the fireplace allowed others to enjoy separate conversations and activities while still feeling part of the group. The back living room allowed for seclusion for those who wanted it. The bedroom space was very adequate and comfortable for our group of 8, including first floor access for my elderly parents. Communication with the management team was easy and they were very responsive. We would love to spend more time here in the future!

Family weekend celebrating Moms 70th birthday

We loved the Sand Castle house in Union Pier! It was perfect for our large family. We celebrated my Moms 70th birthday. The kitchen is top notch! Stocked with everything and more. A true chef kitchen. We had unbelievable meals in such a gorgeous setting. Beautiful lake views! We caught the best sunset. The home truly made our trip amazing. So many great sitting areas for morning coffee or board games. The yard was perfect for our kids to run around and play. The pictures don’t do this house justice! Better in person. I would LOVE to come back to the Sand Castle house during warmer temperatures to spend more time at the beautiful beach. Thank you!

Beautiful large house with great views of Lake Michigan, and a short walk to the beach!

This house and property is outstanding! - there is a huge custom kitchen that is open to large family room, all with windows with views of Lake Michigan. The home also has great outdoor spaces, also with great views of the lake. And, our family of 10 spent many evening hours both outside and in the large screened in porch. And, the best part is that about 70 steps down the hill are miles of beautiful sand beach, and the clean, clear waters of Lake Michigan. You have access to a private beach for the neighborhood, which is not crowded at all. This is a great place -- we never left all week, except to ride our bikes down to the local market a few blocks away.
