Very nice cabin
Good location, private but easy to get to. Had all the amenities needed. I'd recommend this cabin if you're traveling in this area. We came to see autumn colors and had a wonderful time.
This is a great option to get away and disconnect for a few days. Very cozy.

Our stay at Cupids Cove was very relaxing and peaceful, going through a loss in our family at the time. It really helped our grieving process and healing. Thank you!

Thank you for your feedback and for staying in a RedAwning property. We look forward to hosting you again.
The cabin was very cute, but a little too secluded for us. No real views from this cabin. Overall it was nice place.

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. This is the 1st we heard of this issue - we do wish you had contacted us during your stay as the owners of this cabin live on the same street as this rental and would have fixed this issue immediately. We have since rented this cabin several times and no other guests have complained however once the current renters leave, we will look at the fuse. Regarding the TV selection, this cabin has a satellite TV service which means it can be splotchy/loss signal especially if it's raining/overcast. Unfortunately that is the downfall of mountain life when there is no other way to get cable.
First “empty nest” get-away and this was a great trip! Closest place to the Hiwassee train excursion that I wanted to stay. Location is really nice! Train was about 40 minutes away; Cherohala Skyway - beautiful drive - is 15 minutes away. Many water falls; lovely hiking trails. There is only one mid-sized grocery store in Tellico Plains so you’ll want to bring “special” items with you. The listing states the cabin is a “studio” but the pictures are a little misleading. This is ONE big open space — bed is feet from the couch on one side and feet from the dining table on the other. It didn’t bother us, but if you have someone bunking on the pull-out sofa, know that you are all in the same room. Heat fan in bathroom is nice touch. Plenty of towels - even extras by the hot tub. Shower curtain liner showing signs of mildew and needs replaced. Not sure how long before we arrived that the cabin had been cleaned, but it needed freshening up so I felt like I needed to wipe everything down before we got settled. Hot tub could have been cleaner; I wiped down the inside walls. Bring candles and lighter; (besides the obvious reason) it is VERY dark on the porch around the hot tub and you won’t want the bright porch light but need something. If you plan on doing any real cooking - more than just baking a pizza or frying some bacon — you’ll want to bring cookware. We had to buy some disposable foil baking pans because there was only one baking dish. The coffee pot carafe broke while were there and they came and replaced it very quickly! We had no issues with the wi-fi, television connection, or fuses. We didn’t mind stopping to pick up the key on the way IN because it was on our way in and the lady at the office was very nice and there were brochures and maps there. But it was an inconvenience having to stop by there again when we checked OUT; we didn’t want to travel that same way out of town and having to stop at the office to drop off the key took us 40 minutes out of our way. It’s time to put in a keypad. Overall, this was a great little get-away in a scenic space!

The place was amazing!
The house that we rented was really amazing. Beautiful inside and out, hot tub was great and the water in it was clean. The woods around the house were great and allowed us to see a few deer with their fawn! The drive in was also gorgeous! The drive-way going to the house was gravel and at a slight incline which was not a problem for our sedan. However, some bikers with a minivan did not seem to have the same ease getting up to their house next door. They tore up the entrance and threw gravel all over. You are a short drive to Tellico Plains, Lost Sea Adventures, Buck Bald, Bald River Falls, and all sorts of rafting and other adventures between Hiawassee, GA (1hr 30min approx) Chattanooga and Knoxville are also about the same. Well worth it!! They also got us a card for our anniversary which was very sweet!! They also gave us some treats for our puppy that we were allowed to bring after we had to rearrange some plans since our puppy sitter had to cancel on us. They really made us feel very welcomed!
The only things that were a downfall, which are extremely minor. The kitchen gear is not ideal, the non-stick pan is decent but a little tore up from previous guests and general use but overall the pots and pans were usable but there was no cast iron. Also, we had to drive 15 minutes North of the house to get the keys and then drive back. Typically wouldn't be an issue but we came in late so it was a minor inconvenience at 3AM. The only thing I would recommend is having the knives sharpened or getting new ones. They've gone through a lot and are very dull and essentially unusable now. Otherwise, a cast iron and maybe a keypad entry would be really nice but really that's our personal preference.
Thank you so much for letting us stay and bring our puppy and helping make our anniversary a great memory!! We will definitely be recommending this cabin and your rental company to anyone we know looking to travel!
Overall, the place is amazing! Secluded, quiet, peaceful, surrounded by woods and animals are all around! Saw a few deer while we were there when they walked almost right up to the cabin. Beautiful drive to and from the cabin in ay direction and perfectly situated between Chattanooga and Knoxville so you can make a day trip to see the sites at both. You are also close to Hiawassee, GA and plenty of other places to enjoy tubing, rafting, hiking, and the wonderful mountains you're surrounded by.
The minor inconvenience we had to deal with was that the driveway was gravel and a slight incline, fine for us, the people that were staying at a nearby house however tore up the driveway on every pass making it rougher each day.
If you want to get away and enjoy a beautiful cabin with plenty of room for 2 and their dog, have a hot tub, and gorgeous surrounding areas, this is the place. While you are here you should visit Buck Bald for great views.
Great location! Beautiful scenery and excellent hiking close by. This cabin is great for a couple. Fire spot is nice although you will have to bring your own wood. Large hot tub is lovely. Not the easiest driveway to get up to the cabin. Its not terrible but you are going to the top of a hill and don't expect asphalt. All in all we loved this place. And the Tellico Plains area is absolutely beautiful!
For a cabin experience, laurel wood has all there is to offer. Privacy, spacious, air conditioning, hot tub, fire pit all in a secluded nature setting. The drive up to the cabin once you turn on to peach tree was extremely bumpy and really requires an suv or truck. Our Jeep was in the shop for this trip so we had to take our other vehicle a sedan, thankfully we have new tires and were ok to handle the huge pot holes and bumps, but I don’t think the drive up the hill would work for someone with a car or older vehicle. Once you got up, the cabin was beautiful and had great open ceilings and a wonderful deck equipped with a hot tub. The cleanliness inside could use some attention though . There was lots of dust on the ceiling fan and above lights in the bathroom and kitchen. For someone who has allergies, I felt it right away when we turned the fan on in the living room. When I went to the restroom I noticed the toilet had not been cleaned. I brought Lysol and disinfectant wipes so it didn’t end up being a problem, just not something you want to see when you’re checking in for vacation. We enjoyed our time outside, around the fire pit and it really was peaceful. There was a lot of privacy and they allow dogs so we really appreciated that. We used the kitchen a bit to cook and it was stocked with all he dishes and tools needed. Overall we had a really good relaxing time!
Our stay at this wonderful cabin was perfect in every way.
This cabin for sale when we arrived. I tried to put an offer
in on it, but it had sold in 24 hours! Thank you to everyone
