About this property

Our 1 story, 3-bedroom, 3-bath condo has it all! There are two master suites on either side of the condo, each with its own private bathroom. The larger master suite features a king-size bed and private bath with a walk-in closet & double vanities, and a desk for working on the go (if you must). The smaller master has a full bathroom, closet, and built-in dresser. The floorplan makes this perfect for 2 couples to enjoy the space, with an extra, private room for the kids, or any other guests you may have. The hallway bedroom features twin XL bunks and a twin XL loft bed. There is even a unique, special sleeping area with 2 built-in bunk beds off the hallway. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the essentials, so dining in will be piece of cake if you don't feel like venturing out. A private, covered breezeway features a sitting area and an outdoor shower for rinsing off. Rod holders are mounted to the wall on the patio area to accommodate the serious fisherman. Our Pirates Bay condo complex features landscaped walking paths throughout the community, two fabulous slope-entry pools, BBQ grills, a fire pit area, and a large kid's play area. The atmosphere is very tropical & relaxing. You won't be disappointed! The cottage is located only minutes away from many of the restaurants, bars, and shops that Port Aransas has to offer. Unit 219 is located on the more private side of the complex, with plenty of guest parking right outside the unit.

The property now features a large, covered, screened-in patio with seating so you can enjoy the cool breezes without mosquitos! The kitchen is fully stocked with a coffee maker, crockpot, lots of pots and pans, casserole dishes, Tupperware, strainers, bowls, etc.... Games, DVDs & beach towels are provided for your convenience. There are 2 assigned parking spaces right outside the unit.

Please note that NO pets of any kind are allowed. *The pools are NOT heated & there is no "hot tub". There are no bathtubs in the unit, only showers. We are not on the beach side of the highway. Golf carts are NOT allowed to cross Highway 361 in front of our unit. There are very specific legal crossings where golf carts are allowed and if you cross in front of our unit, you do risk getting a ticket. Nice place for short vacation but ...

Everything was smooth and simple but property needs some small fixes. Make sure to bring your own: 1. knives - all knives at the property are dull; 2. If you are planning to use washing machine - you'll need to take your supplies, they do not provide anything;

Awesome Condo!

We really enjoyed our stay. Their home had everything we needed. It was nice and spacious. We are hoping to return and stay there again soon. The owner was extremely nice and responsive, so easy to work with. Highly recommend!

The family and I love to spend time together by the water. Whether it's a lake, river or ocean, the water is our happy place! We like to fish, water ski, paddle board, camp, hike, bike ride, etc.... Anything outdoors works for us. We have lived in Austin for the last 30 years and spent 4 years in Buffalo NY prior to that. This property is our "second home", and our little slice of Texas Paradise. It's perfect for when we wish to take a break from everyday life, and get down to the ocean for a few days. We hope you will enjoy it as much as we do and will plan to return often.

Why they chose this property

This property is perfect for the family who wants to bring relatives and kids with them to enjoy the beach. There is plenty of room for everyone! The open floor plan is perfect for family get togethers, and dinners, but the private rooms and the outdoor patio, pool areas and playground, allow each person to get their own quiet space when needed. 3 full baths in a condo is hard to find, but it is an amenity you are sure to appreciate.

What makes this property unique

This property is all one story, and there are two reserved parking spaces right outside the unit! Carrying in your groceries, and your belongings is a quick & easy breeze. There is also a shower right inside the gate so you can wash off, and not track all the sand inside. We are also located in the back (more private) part of the condo complex with lots of guest parking right outside the unit as well.
