This was one of the nicest rentals I’ve stayed in at Black Butte. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The location is ideal for walking trails, bike paths and close to Paulina Pool. I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants a comfortable, clean, well equipped house to stay in during your vacation.

This was a perfect house for multiple families to enjoy. 5 minute drive from both Glaze Meadow ppol and the Big Meadow golf course. Short walk to Paulina Springs pool. The kids loved the loft area and sleeping up there. Kitchen was well stocked. My only critique would be if there are older folks in your party, there are a lot of stairs both to get into the property from the garage, and then once you are inside the house (tri level). If you have stair issues might not be the property for you, but otherwise it was perfect!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house worked out perfectly for our 3 family combo. The kitchen is about the best stocked I've ever rented. Everything is well maintained and the lay out is great. Fun loft area for kids, nice flow from kitchen to living and dining rooms and outdoor deck with great table for a group. Proximity to tennis and swimming great with easy walk or ride to the beautiful mountain views from the meadow. We had a great time at this house and Black Butte amenities are AWESOME!!

A cozy retreat

We have stayed here several times over the last 6 years and the house has been maintained well. The only issue we have had consistently is with the fireplace. Negative pressure in the house seems to pull smoke out of the fireplace when the furnace comes on.

Great home layout for two families. Convenient location and easy biking distance to Glaze Meadow and Lakeside pool. Also very nice to be so close to Paulina Springs, Paulina Pool, and the trail system. Kid friendly loft. Well-equipped kitchen and nice outdoor dining space.

Family vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the house layout worked well for four adults and three teenage kids. We were able to spread out or gather around the table for games, meals, conversation. Our communication with property management was friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Generally good. House was well-equipped for cooking and living. The only issue was bats in the outside walls of one bedroom. The management company acknowledged this was an ongoing problem that they have tried to address several times - unsuccessfully.The house is walking distance to Paulina Springs, a tennis court and the Paulina Springs Pool, which is convenient.Road noise on Hawks Beard was not an issue.

The rental house suited us perfectly and was very clean, comfortable, and well stocked. Central air was a plus and the large patio table was appreciated. Easy access to Paulina pool and Big Meadow golf as well as the Heritage Trail. The visiting deer in the area was a plus. Would recommend this for families if stairs aren’t a problem and you don’t need more than two bathrooms.

Pleased with accommodations. Top surprises included: very comfortable mattress on the pull- out and very good attention to detail as far as amenities. We dubbed one drawer “the magic drawer” because every time we needed something, there it was to our surprise in that one drawer!

Wedding Accommodations

We needed a place to stay for a last minute wedding and as we know home owners in BBR already, our expectations were high. The property did not disappoint. The kitchen was open to the family area and it was large and well equipped. My youngest teen loved the loft with a teepee upstairs and did a lot of her homework there. The area was perfect and right next to a walking trail to the meadow. It was absolutely so peaceful and beautiful and we came home reluctantly but very relaxed and rejuvenated. My only complaint was that there was no king size and there was a bit too much dust around on the floor and in the ceilings. Loved the cabin type feel but the functionality of a home!

Nice house in Black Butte

House is nice, kitchen is updated, decks are great and kids play area is great. There is no master bedroom or master bathroom and you have to walk up and down a lot of stairs to get to any room. The bathrooms are original and no garage door opener. We brought our own bikes but there are bikes onsite. Right off Hawks Beard but still quiet.
