Great getaway

This cabin is cozy and an excellent getaway from hectic life! If you want something super close to town, this isn’t it…..but we wanted something fairly remote that felt like an actual relief from suburbia, and this cabin provided just that!! Super clean and comfortable! Visit Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument….its close by and worth the visit!

A most relaxing getaway!

We headed to the cabin as we were scheduled to ride the Royal gorge train in nearby Canon City on Sunday- When we arrived at the cabin we felt it would be just perfect, and it was!! Cozy, comfortable and stocked with every thing we needed! And I cannot put into words how BEAUTIFUL the view is! SUCH a peaceful, quiet stay with no one around. This place is the perfect place to decompress! Get there!

Absolutely Fantastic

We absolutely loved this property. It was a good distance away from town, but it did not matter. The cabin was incredibly clean and tastefully decorated. Anything and everything you might need was available, including a fan for white noise at night, heated floors in the bathroom, extra blankets and pillows, games and books, some snacks and treats...the views were absolutely gorgeous, and we were entertained by a variety of wildlife. There were deer grazing within 100 feet of the back door, a red robin's nest of babies on the back patio, and a small bunny that visited by the back door at every dawn and dusk. It was a perfect get away. I would choose this location again and again. As previously mentioned it was not close to town, but we didn't need or want to be. There were nearby neighbors, but it's location on the mountain made it feel very private. There were 4 of us, all adult size, and there was plenty of room. I can't say enough how much we loved this rental.

Anniversary Weekend

We loved the cabin. Perfect for the four of us. We enjoyed the back porch the first night. Perfect for our weekend at Cripplecreek. Beautiful area. Only thing we’d suggest is some fire starter to start the wood fire. Thank you.
