Great location, 1/2 block from beach access and also short walk to the bay to watch the sunset. Nice neighborhood, close to what Beach Haven has to offer but quiet street. Enjoyed the multiple living areas and spacious backyard deck. Appreciated the contemporary kitchen and ample counterspace/pantry storage. Would gladly rent again.
This house was absolutely perfect for our two family vacation! Location is perfect- close to the beach, and walking distance to town. It is an older beach cottage which was perfect for us and our budget. Two living spaces was such a bonus too. We will be returning!
This is the second time we have stayed here and enjoyed it. The location is amazing and the living areas and kitchen are great. The one bedroom downstairs did have a bit of a musty smell and we had to sweep off the back deck when we arrived, Bur overall, we had a good experience at the property.
Perfect little beach house in the best location in Beach Haven. Back deck was amazing and the house had everything we needed for a great beach vacation as a family. We would stay again!
This perfect LBI vacation home has all you need for a wonderful fun filled summer family vacation. The only thing that would make this 9.9 rating a perfect 10, is if they provided some beach passes that could be purchased in the beginning of the season for much cheaper than what a weekly pass costs.
This is our second year in this beautiful cape cod home. Our family has been renting every year for over 25 years and this house did not disappoint; as it had everything you could need for a summer week vacation. This year we walked into a brand new kitchen and 4 beach passes which were very appreciated and so nice to see!
Great locationRemodeled kitchen looks bright, clean and inviting. I am glad that beach tags came with the rentalThe outside shower could use an update ( we did not use) and the grill was not cleaned from the previous renters but the new stove was an excellent substitute. We will be back next summer to enjoy LBI and Norwood street
House provided everything we needed. Four spacious bedrooms, two and half baths, kitchen provided everything we needed, great back yard, walking distance to beach and our favorite restaurants. We didn’t need our cars all week. Bonus room with Murphy bed on first floor. Two spacious decks. We enjoyed the week and would book this house again.
Great location - 2 minute walk to beach and close to shops and stores. Great communication with host. House has a great layout and big backyard for hanging out. Kitchen had basics for cooking. Only issue was it was not as clean as it should have been if a good cleaning service is used. Had to clean a bit ourselves first before settling in. Not a huge deal and overall would recommend.

August week
Tried to contact owner few times no response. Bad management.
Only pro is close to ocean. Carpet upstairs hall filthy with stains. Ants in small downstairs bathroom. Dryer takes forever. Air conditioning window units some were moldy. Musty smell.

The house was not clean. All of the air conditioners were filthy and had to be cleaned for us to use. My husband who is highly allergic to cats had started sneezing as soon as we stepped into the house. When asked the owner about animals he said he couldn’t say about renters. When I emptied the lint container in the dryer it looked as if it hadn’t been cleaned in months. And there was anima hair in there. The two toilets were old. One had to have the chain constantly put back on and the other had to wait about 10 minutes to do a second flush. There was visible mold on the ceiling in the downstairs bathroom. The kitchen was relatively new which was nice. The back room had a musty smell to it. The location half a block from the beach was nice and the 8 blocks to shopping and food was walkable.

Not as expected
We love staying in cape cod style bungalows in LBI, and we expected some age and charm, but the house was very dirty when we arrived. We had to vacuum and mop the floors ourselves upon arrival due to the amount of dirt. We reached out to the owner a few times with questions and concerns, and he never responded in 2 weeks. Zero response. The key was not in the lock box when we arrived. They do not provide beach badges which we have never experienced in 30 years of renting. A lot of things were broken (fan, A/C unit, deck was falling apart), smoke detectors were not plugged in, and the fire extinguisher was from 1988. The location is perfect. Proximity to the beach was wonderful, Norwood entrance is right in front of the lifeguard stand, and the neighborhood was quiet and lovely. Unfortunately everything else was really hard to look past.
Enjoyed our week at Robert’s home. Short walk to beach was great, home was clean and had all cooking utensils we needed.Backyard space and deck was really nice spot to have dinner and drinks.Had wonderful week in LBI !
This was the perfect house for our family needs. The layout was great for two families with children (bedrooms are 2x2). Yes, the place is "lived in", but for a group with 4 kids under 11, it meant no stress for us as parents. The house itself is very family-friendly (has everything you need without being over the top). Most importantly, it has close proximity to the beach, restaurants, and activities without being stuck in the middle of large crowds. Nearest beach access (1/2 block away) has a lifeguard station (swimming area) and is a few blocks away from the packed beaches near the hotels. After many years renting much more expensive homes in other areas if LBI, we agreed that this met all our needs of value, necessary amenities, and location. Would definitely rent again.
Location of the house was very close to everything we wanted to do. You can tell that it is an old property but seems to be well taken care of. The house was very homely. It stated that there was no internet connections but there was internet connection so that is a plus. The house had little bit of everything we needed for little family get away
