Great stay!

The property was a great location for a girl's weekend! The host was responsive and answered all our questions. The house was clean and very spacious for our large party. It's tucked away for privacy but close to Collingwood for entertainment.

Great Weekend Getaway!

We had a wonderful time! Large kitchen was great for a big group and included two dishwashers and two fridges. The chalet was clean and well maintained. Would recommend!

Chalet meet our large group needs. Property could use some updates such as beds. Ads described rooms as some twins beds so linens were incorrect. Kitchen needs more than one wash cloth and tea towel. No oven mitts provided and frying pans were in rough shape. Few easy fixed for guests.

Good stay but could have been better.

Overall, this property was good and we enjoyed our time. The property is spacious and was easily able to accommodate our large group of 16 people, including young kids and several youth / teens. By far, the best area of the house is the top floor with the large sitting area and kitchen / dining area. We spent most of our time there. The basement is also quite spacious and we would have spent more time there if it wasn't so cold in the basement. Adjusting the thermostat helped a bit, however, the room with the pool table was very cold and did not have any heat ventilation. Oddly, there is a gas fireplace in that room but it is not functional. When we asked about it, we were told that it's been deactivated due to it being a fire hazard. Would have been nice if there were some space heaters placed in the basement to help with the temperature. The rooms / washrooms were OK, but not great. Everything is a bit dated and old. The rooms were good size and the dressers helped with storage. On our final evening, it was raining and the roof in the kitchen started to leak. It created a fair size puddle in the kitchen that we had to clean up. Communication with the host was ok, but detail could have been a bit better. The dishwasher worked, but not great and wasn't easy to use. The hot tub was great. We didn't use the bbq or the backyard so can't comment on those. Overall, it was a good place, but needs a bit of attention to make it a place that I would re-visit.

Peaceful family time

This is just the place our family needed to gather for our final goodbye to our father. Plenty of room to be together yet lots of room to spread out. Great food options nearby, lots of options for walking. However, food was left on balcony from previous renters, one bathroom had a burnt out light with no spares available, and pillows were flat. Minor issues but be aware.

Chalet at blue

Great cottage and location, had lots of fun with big family of 17 people including 2 babies and a dog. Would help to have more cooking essentials and some sprucing up of property/cottage to modernize. Beds and pillows were also small and uncomfortable at times for some people but otherwise, overall an amazing stay at a great home. Host was very communicative and helpful leading up to and throughout trip.

Perfect spot for a blue mountain getaway

Very spacious cottage with all the amenities and in an ideal location. We were able to enjoy what the cottage and property had to offer, and also walk in to the village when we wanted. Perfect spot for a group of friends or a family.

Bachelor weekend

Great place for a large group gathering. Lots of rooms and beds, and a fantastic large dining table for everyone to eat together. Lots of parking on site. 20 minute walk to the Blue Mountain village.

Worked for us

Jazz was helpful and available and check in was smooth. The top floor kitchen and sitting area was great for our large extended family group to sit, eat and visit. The pool table in the basement was not functional, there were no working darts for the dart board, the hot tub was nice but in the entryway and the floor got icy, the duvets were light summer ones, fortunately we brought some sleeping bags, the front steps had not been cleared well and were icy, there was salt so that helped.. There was plenty of dishes and cutlery. The upstairs space worked well so we would rent again but be more prepared.
