The apartment was exactly as described. It was very clean and nice. The location is excellent, very close to the metro and in a safe neighborhood with lots of great restaurants. The host was easy to communicate with and came immediately to resolve a minor issue we had. We were very happy with apartment and would stay again and recommend it highly to others.
This apartment was clean, well appointed, and in a great location. Be aware when booking that it is 4 floors up! Great location, close to the metro and Sunday farmers market in the neighborhood was a treat.
The apartment gave us a nice place for a fun family reunion, it had convenient local parking, many great places to walk to for meals, near public transportation and a very nice neighborhood. It was perfect for us. Next time, I may book an apartment with you on a lower floor so I do not need to climb so many stairs, given I am 71 years old. LOL
Nice place. We enjoyed our stay. Great location for Metro travel back and forth. Not to much walking. Parking relatively close by for meter parking if you’re in SUV style vehicle. Stairs are a challenge and no elevator for those that are challenged by climbing several levels of steps.

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
Great location, furnishing need update
Location, communication, check in all great. Flexible with check-in time for an online meeting which was very appreciative. The unit is on the 4th floor, no elevator, so be prepared, we were. Bathrooms and kitchen were very clean. Furnishing were a major let down. Stains all over couch chairs and rugs. Small dining table had all 4 legs broken and glued together, making it barely functional. Beds were average, disspointed in the cleanliness of the rugs within bedrooms (not even sure they are needed). If you are looking for a place to rest your head and shower - this is a great place. Room for improvement in the common areas for hanging out.
Overall a good place to stay! Good location. One of the dining table legs is about to break and the dining chairs have stains on them. Carpets really need to be cleaned. Other than that, we had a good nights of sleep!

Great Place in a great location
The place is great, secure, with a fantastic location and a lot of restaurants and cafeterias nearby. Host is great and answer really fast.
Nicely remodeled apartment close to DuPont circle. Perfect for our family of 4. Compact but had everything we needed for short stay and location great for seeing sights and walking to restaurants. Unit is up 3 flights of stairs so best if traveling light.
Clean, very close to lots of different restaurants. Easy walk to Metro and bus stops. Just keep in mind it's up four flights without an elevator! Apt very small, although room for 6 to sleep, 6 people would feel cramped. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this apt.
This clean, quaint apartment is in a beautiful building situated in a great neighborhood, and was the perfect size for our family of 4. (kids are 7 & 10). We enjoyed the comfortable beds, plentiful towels, and having an in unit washer & dryer! The apartment is at the very top of the building with multiple flights of stairs, but we didn’t mind. It was easy to pull into the alley on the side of the building to unload/reload the car. I do highly recommend reserving a parking spot ahead of time (we used Spot Hero & it worked out great!) Restaurants and shops are just steps from the front door, and we were easily able to get around town with either walking or Uber. We would definitely stay here again the next time we visit DC, and we would highly recommend this VRBO for families!

Great location!
I can't say enough about the location of this property and the great neighborhood! It is in a fantastic part of DC with opportunities to get to everything via walking, bus, or metro. We were able to get to all of the touristy spots within 15-30 minutes and loved checking out a less touristy area of the city in Kalorama. The property itself was as advertised and lived up to expectations. For those not used to staying in an older property in the city, be prepared for the size. It is smaller than it appears online, but really a great size if you are used to staying in city locations. The age of the building creates a lot of character, but also a few issues in terms of waiting to get hot water quickly, oddly sloped floors, and obviously, no elevator. Staying on the top floor we were ready for the challenge, but it is not for everyone. Other than that, we did notice that there was no toaster or oven sheets (should we have wanted to use the oven) and the dryer did not work very well and kept turning off unless we used the 40 minute timed cycle with half a load. I'm not sure if we were doing something wrong, so maybe there could be directions posted if there's a better way to use it. None of that was a deal breaker at all - just odds and ends we noticed. The property was clean, had sufficient towels and paper products as well as dish soap and dishwasher pellets - which were all very helpful. It is located directly across from Walgreens so you can pick up any items you may have forgotten. We ended up using spot hero for parking our car for the week and got a place near Dupont circle for about $175 for the week (which actually extended into two weeks!) so I would recommend using that for parking if needed. Street parking is NOT easily available and most of it requires permits. For loading/unloading, we worked quickly while parked in the alley next to the building. I would recommend staying here and should we return, I would book here again! When rating this property, I had to choose whole numbers, but I would have given this property a 4.5 if allowed! :)
Neighborhood is great. The building itself is very safe. There is a pretty cool bar downstairs. Coffee and other restaurants are walking distance.
Great communication from the building manager.
Downside is there is no elevator. Parking can be difficult to find, but not impossible. Worst case, park at the Walgreens across the street.
The condo itself is pretty small. Tiny living room. But it's in an expensive neighborhood, so I guess that makes sense.
Wifi was kind of flaky. I wasn't too happy about that.
Great accommodations, comfortable beds and bathrooms (one with a small sink), but very nice. Was in DC for a weekend with adult children. Location of property was very convenient.
We enjoyed our stay at this property. It was clean, the owners were responsive when we had a question, and helped us solve the parking riddle very quickly. The location of the apartment is excellent. Great restaurants within walking distance, and a short Uber to downtown. The area felt very safe too. Beds were comfortable, linens were of a nice quality. Just an FYI, and I'm sure this is in the description, and I missed it, but it's a lot of flights up, and no elevator. We had a couple heavy bags, and it was not fun toting them up 4 levels of stairs. Again, I think it was my oversight. Also, the sofa is sort of wonky, it needs fixed or replaced, we watched TV in the bedroom because the sofa is tilted down towards the floor. Those were minor things, it was a nice stay.
Great location, close to everything. Stores and restaurants within 1 block. The unit was very clean. Big beds they had lots of towels which was great. There is a lot if stairs but I thought it was pretty neat. Would definitely stay there again.
