About this property
Desert View Retreat w/ HotTub in Joshua Tree
This desert home is a perfect escape from the busy activities of daily life. Our mid-century modern retreat is designed for families and friends who are seeking refuge, relaxation, or adventure. We are steps away or a 10 minute drive from the National Park border, allowing you easy access to hiking, bouldering, and climbing. Come relax in the shaded hammocks, soak in the hot tub, and enjoy desert sunsets and starlit skies with expansive views across the desert valley.
Our desert home is three bedrooms and two full bathrooms, and sits on 1.25 acres in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood just a short walk from the north border of the National Park. Hike or drive in and explore the desert, or relax and enjoy the solitude of the home and the surrounding desert views. The home and neighborhood are very secluded, but easily accessible by paved road.
Please note the number of beds and bed sizes per room when planning your sleeping arrangements.
We have high-speed internet with WiFi and a 55” tv with Netflix. You can stream music and movies to the tv or audio system from your phone.
To help you relax, there is a 4 person hot tub with boulder views, shaded outdoor hammocks, and sunset views, an outdoor dining table, and lounge areas for sunning and star gazing.
For cooling, the home has an evaporative cooler. Like many homes in the high desert, the cooling is with evaporative coolers, not traditional air conditioning. Every bedroom also has a ceiling fan. The home is generally pretty cool with outdoor temps around 95 degrees or lower. It can quite warm with Temps above 100.
In the kitchen, there is a toaster, blender, crockpot, microwave, coffee grinder, and coffee maker. Bring your own beans/coffee grounds. The kitchen has pots, pans, and basic cooking utensils, as well as some basic seasonings.
For outside cooking and dining, there is a charcoal grill, a covered patio dining area, and with sunset views.
