This was the perfect getaway, a great house with beautiful views, in a great location with a great host. We really enjoyed our stay and everything the Catlins has to offer. Hope to stay again one day!!

Lovely home

We loved our stay - the fire and heatpump ensured we weren't cold. There was plenty of room and a kitchen that had everything we needed. Great location too!

Had unfortunate weather event with no power or water. The host contacted local people who provided us with water and a little gas cooker. There was also a fire which provided some light and warmth.

Yes it was very unfortunate that you struck a state of emergency during your stay. Once in a lifetime event. I was relieved we were able to provide you with a place to shelter for the night since the roads were all closed. You were very lucky to have access to water, a gas cooker, fire for warmth and candles for light when so many people didn’t have anything for days.

Quiet and restful

Propery was comfortable and very clean. Good base to get out and about to explore the coastline then come home and relax at the end of the day. Great Kitchen and bathroom and super comfortable bed. Great deck to relax on in the sunshine. Would stay again
