Welcome to The Babanees, a quaint and cool, boho surfer style home located in the heart of desirable Puntas, Rincon. With over 20 windows inside, it makes for a beautiful airy and light space. Situated on the top of "Bummer Hill" the home has sweeping ocean views from almost every room. It is a three bedroom, one bath private house rental I took on the undertaking of rehabbing and designing the property myself. It’s boho surfer chic style holds a certain novelty that only a place like Rincon, PR could possess. The house has all brand new appliances. New stove, refrigerator, bath remodel, furniture, 50' screen TV with streaming capabilities, high-speed internet, and brand new inverter A/C. There is plenty of ventilation from the abundance of windows in the home. I have a reverse osmosis filter in the kitchen ensure you are getting the cleanest and safest water. The house is fully equipped with everything you need to live comfortably. I’ve tried my best not to miss any details! I have a 300 gallon back up gravity water cistern. Please keep in mind that the water does frequently go out in Puntas. I have made it my job to ensure that when the city water turns off, my guests never go without water. My goal is to keep making this home better, cozier, and more unique. I wanted to create a space that will make you feel relaxed while on vacation. It’s more than just a place to sleep, it’s a home that exudes everything I love about the island and culture of Puerto Rico. It's perfect for a couples, young families, and solo travelers who want a new, clean, and cool space to lay their head while they explore the awesomeness of Rincon!

Jessica was a wonderful guest—communicative, respectful, and very understanding when we experienced some unexpected Internet issues. She needed reliable service for her classes and, unfortunately, didn’t have a backup plan in place. While I’ve since upgraded the Internet, Puerto Rico’s infrastructure can still be delicate at times. I’d recommend that any guest who depends on a stable connection for work or school consider bringing a hotspot or having an alternative like a nearby café just in case. Overall, I truly appreciated her patience and would gladly host her again!

My stay was great, just there was mold on the pillows and the sofa and some stains on the floors that was peeling in the rooms. Other then that the house was great and the owner tried her best to resolve the issue.

The Banabees house

House location was great . Did have a little hiccup when we arrived and retrieved the key. We didn’t have key for additional lock. Contacted the host and got back to us . She had another set of keys at another lockbox at the house, so we finally got in . Host was helpful multiple times during our stay.

Suzanne has created a perfect tropical getaway. The property well exceeds the pictures. The home is located in Puntas Rincon, up on a wonderfully verdant hill. The neighborhood is perfectly lovely! Everything has been thought of... a thousand little niceties! The eclectic decor really let's you know you "aren't in Kansas anymore", but in a magical space. Suzanne was available via text any time we needed a question answered or needed a hand. The view is more spectacular than you can imagine. From the carport where we had our coffee in the morning, you look over banana trees out to breadfruit trees and the ubiquitous coconut palm. It's just a 3 minute drive down the hill to the beach. There is a nice breakfast spot there as well. During the day, opening the windows and doors captures the breeze, and it is special in its own right. The in-room a/c is perfect for overnight. A fully operational kitchen, wifi and streaming round out a suite of amenities. Rincon is the most beautiful place we have been in Puerto Rico, and our stay here was completely and totally perfect. If you are planning a Puerto Rican vacation, this is where it needs to be.

Great place!

Everything was wonderful. It was clean and well stocked. Beautiful views and close to convenient locations. I only wish I'd realized there is no washer or dryer for laundry. No big deal though, as the owner gave me great recommendations! We found a drop off laundry service in town, and were able to get it all done while we had lunch! The owner was responsive and helpful. 5 stars all around from us.
