Was great- everything we needed
We were pleasantly surprised and satisfied with this unit after reading a negative review on this site. It was everything we needed, no complaints about it at all. Would reserve again.

Not what we expected
We booked this property because we had family staying at the Aloha Kai in a different unit. This was the only place available at that resort during the timeframe. Check in was very simple. The living room looked larger than pictures however the kitchen was much smaller than what it appeared to be in the listing. The unit was relatively clean, super outdated with gross carpet in bedroom. It's understandable that everything is more expensive during spring break but i feel we paid far too much for what this unit offered. The appliances need to be upgraded. The microwave handle was broken. The fridge froze all of our fresh veggies after day one due to the temp dial not even having numbers on it so you couldn't see what the temp was at. The oven burned things in spots but then didnt cook things all the way through. It was also very small so cooking for a family of 5 was difficult. Hose outside was busted. The bed in the master broke in the middle of the night on our first night. I will say that the property manager was very nice and had someone sent out that day. Even though it is in the Aloha Kia property it isn't one of their units. I found this out when I went to the office and they said that isn't there unit so they couldn't help. I would have to call the person I booked through. If you have a major issue you may not be able to get someone to respond right away because of this. We like the location, the beach is beautiful. The unit is farthest from the beach though.

Everything we needed
Condo is clean and stocked with everything we needed. Beds and pillows are nicer than most short term rentals I’ve stayed in. Location is great, and property is secure. Do be aware if you’re staying with kids that there is outside access to both rooms. Not a problem, just something for parents to keep an extra eye on. We would certainly stay again.

Great location
We loved the condo but it could use some updates in the kitchen. Also could hear conversations from adjoining rooms. But overall we liked it.

Sub Par Rental
This complex is a perfect location. Unfortunately The unit we had which is very close to the pool is not up to standards they are to be expected for this resort complex. The kitchen is horrible and very sparsely supplied(4 forks, 4 knives, 4 spoons...air conditioners are very loud. The entire unit needs updated. We will never stay in this unit again.
