5 star rated, private studio apartment with kitchenette. This is a studio apartment with 1 closet and 1 bathroom. It has a private patio with an outdoor table and two chairs. We have added a brand new Queen size bed. Separate driveway and off-street parking available. Smoking is permitted on the patio. Located only 4 miles to the heart of Downtown Atlanta, where guests can find Mercedes Benz Stadium (Superbowl 2019), State Farm Arena, Georgia World Congress Center, AmericasMart, Georgia Aquarium.

This is a newer, separate from the main house, clean, self contained studio apartment. The studio apartment shares the backyard with the main house. It's completely private and is behind a fence with two entrance gates and two additional entrance doors. It's a very quiet space. Separate driveway and on-street parking is available. A washer and dryer is available, behind the main house backdoor.

Amazing stay!

This property was a perfect spot for my wife and I to celebrate our anniversary. The location was close to downtown Atlanta, but not too close that it was busy! There were great amenities from the patio space, to the kitchenette, and even the comfortable bed! We are very grateful and would definitely come back here for a future trip to Atlanta!

Great Atlanta getaway

This was a great property for a quickie visit to Atlanta. It is a charming little studio in a quiet neighborhood near central Atlanta. It was very clean with all the necessary amenities. The hosts were easy to contact and provided excellent instructions. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely book again if we find ourselves headed back to Atlanta.

Such a great experience staying here!! The location is in such a nice neighborhood and only about a 25 min walk to the coolest spots in the East Atlanta Village! The hosts had a guest book with recommendations from other people who have stayed there which was so helpful when deciding where to eat. EAV has amazing late night spots for food/games/drinks and anything else you can imagine. Could not recommend staying here enough!

I enjoyed my stay! I was worried at first that there wouldn't be any natural light, but the studio has two windows that provided all the natural light I needed. The owners communicated well, the check-in process was easy. Although I was provided with off-street parking, which was great, there was plenty of street parking outside the gate. The neighborhood was quiet, safe and close to I20. I would definitely stay here again.

This was a great, affordable option rather than paying for a hotel downtown. Property manager was communicative. Only thing to be wary about is the property does have a garden and during this time of year, the bees were a disturbance while coming and going from the property.

We were visiting the Atlana area to consider the possibility of moving there from New Orleans. The location was perfect for our investigative travels, near and around many of the neighborhoods we wanted to check out. The room, although small, gave us exactly what we needed - a comfy bed, kitchenette and all the TV channels anyone might want. (Although we don't actually watch much TV). We'd stay there again for sure if we make another investigative trip to the area.

Quiet peaceful studio

This place was great. Cozy private studio within a meditation grotto of a yard, very relaxing vibe. Perfect location close to east Atlanta village. The bed is incredibly comfortable and everything was just great. Would definitely stay again! Loved it.

Our favorite place to vacation is Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica. We've been several times and always enjoy going back. We also like Ft. Lauderdale, FL and St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands. Five things we can't live without - #1 - iPhones, #2 - Pets, #3 - Computers, #4 - Electricity for the tech stuff, #5 - and of course, Water!

We've done a lot of traveling, so we understand what it's like to arrive at your hotel/resort, exhausted. We have always enjoyed a quick, convenient check-in upon arrival at our destination. We both try to provide this type of check-in and check-out process to our guests as well.

What makes this property unique

The Gatehouse is located about a 25 minute walk or a quick 2-3 minute drive to EAV (East Atlanta Village). From Paoli Ave. make a left onto Flat Shoals Rd. SE, then a right onto Flat Shoals Ave SE. You will find many neat bars, restaurants and shops in “The Village”. The Midway Pub, The Glenwood, The Graveyard, We Suki Suki (recommended), Grant Central Pizza (recommended), Flat Iron, The Earl, Argosy (recommended), Mary’s Bar, Emerald City Bagels and Joe's Coffee Shop just to name a few.
If this is your first visit to Atlanta, seeing a lot of the attractions, restaurants and bars is made much more convenient by using a vehicle to get around. The Atlanta Metropolitan Area is so incredibly diverse and expansive. Atlanta, like most major U.S. cities, offers what’s called a CityPass. The Atlanta CityPass offers a discount to 5 local attractions.
The Gatehouse is located approximately 4 miles, from the center of many downtown attractions, such as, AmericasMart,The Georgia Aquarium, World of Coca-Cola, Center for Civil and Human Rights and the College Football Hall of Fame. Most of these attractions are centered around Centennial Olympic Park. The park is a perfect spot to take in all of what downtown Atlanta has to offer. There are many places to eat and drink that are within walking distance of the park. A little further out from the park you will find The World Congress Center, State Farm Arena, The Atlanta Convention Center, The Georgia Convention Center and the new Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
If you like heights and great views, check out SkyView Atlanta. This Ferris wheel is almost 20 stories high and offers some spectacular views of downtown Atlanta. We also recommend visiting Zoo Atlanta and Grant Park. The Gatehouse is located approximately 2.5 miles from Zoo Atlanta and Grant Park.
