The downstairs bedroom has a queen and there's a sleeper sofa in the living area. Sorry, no smoking or pets allowed.

Shores of Surfside I is located 3.4 miles north of the Garden City Pier in Surfside Beach. This three-story complex offers direct oceanfront views. Experience beach living at Shores of Surfside I. Go for a swim in the oceanside outdoor pool, which is open Easter/April 1 to October 1. Have some fun in the sun, sand, and surf, barbeque at the complex's grilling area, or just relax on your private balcony! Two parking permits are issued per unit. Motorcycles are allowed. Sorry, trailers, recreational vehicles, golf carts, and pets are not permitted.

The ceramic floor tiles were broken, the ceiling was falling off into the floor, the small fridge was broken, the regular fridge was moldy all around the molding, the carpet was sticky, the laminate floor tiles were "wet like and slippery" all week, the hallway light upstairs outside the bedroom window couldn't be turned off, there were only 2 plates for a condo that fits 8 people, silverware was dirty that was in the drawer which made us wonder about all other smallwares in the condo, top bed linens were not asked to be stripped upon departing so we wondered if they were cleaned before we arrived, not enough linens were provided for 8 people, and there were only 3 of us and we didn't have enough. Location on the beach was excellent for what we wanted, but for what we paid it was not worth it. Glad we didn't stay in much but spent time on the beach and balcony. Would go back to this area on the beach, but not to this same condo.

Condo had not been cleaned upon arrival at 6:00pm, but this was quickly resolved upon calling Dunes. After cleaning there was still a musky/moldy smell which I believe was caused by what appeared to be mold on a couple of the vents in the living room area. A good deep clean would likely resolve this issue. There was also a small ice/drink frig in the kitchen which probably needs to be removed as it wasn’t working and was full of mold…yuck. The balcony was AWESOME! Spent many hours there enjoying the wonderful view. Pool was great and access to beach was very convenient. Condo was roomy; we didn’t even use the upstairs. This was my first visit to Surfside and I will definitely visit this beach again.
