This property is on the canal in Lewes and features a rooftop deck with bay views. Lewes beach is a short walk down Market Street and Downtown Lewes is a short walk over the bridge on Savannah Road.

Large open 2nd floor space with 15 foot high ceilings, master bedroom, kitchen, sitting room and powder room. Generous outdoor space including a rooftop deck, screened porch and large deck with high ceiling off 2nd floor kitchen with outdoor dining table.

Property features an outdoor shower on the ground level. The 1st floor features 2 master bedrooms, one bedroom with a twin over full bunkbed, laundry room with shower, living room, front porch and rear deck.

Quiet stay

Beautiful house, well equipped , easy walk to the beach. Plenty of wildlife, great area for birding. Easy bike ride to beautiful state park. Restaurants and shopping minutes away walk or ride.

A great house in a great area!

A group of nine friends from all over the US, we came to Delaware for a reunion/vacation kinda making "Look, we're in Delaware" jokes. We were looking for someplace quiet and relaxing and this house was perfect. The large open living and dining space upstairs with most of the bedrooms downstairs was a really great arrangement for us. The multiple outdoor spaces were very well used. We cooked, had margaritas and coffee, sat around the firepit and on the upstairs deck. The beach was super accessible (a 10minute walk through a lovely neighborhood, also easy to park) and the town across the canal was an unexpected surprise. Super walkable to multiple fun bars, restaurants, and shops. We had a fantastic time, and I'm looking forward to coming back to the Delaware beaches again!

Nice home

House is clean and spacious. Quiet neighborhood. There was an issue with one bed which was not comfortable to sleep in, like being in a low hole. We thought it was just that the mattress needed to be replaced and figured we would suggest that to the owner. However, the bed issue was reported by the cleaners after we left, to be a broken bed frame. I’m not sure why it wasn’t discovered earlier than our arrival and we never would have suspected that. When the owner questioned us about the broken bed frame with the assumption the damage occurred during our stay, it was a shock. The issue was favorably resolved but it was unfortunate to have a poor bed and then be asked about that and two other concerns the cleaning crew had reported which also had nothing to do with us. I have learned from this experience to contact a property owner immediately about any issues and to carefully inspect home environment and take pictures to document/ notify owner of anything we notice, upon arrival. All said, it is a nice home.

A Great Stay

Thank you for another enjoyable year in Lewes at Grey Plover. The home is spacious, clean, and modern. The new additions of the K kitchen island and built in work desk/sideboard were wonderful surprises and greatly appreciated. As a caring customer we want to let you know that on the rooftop deck there is one piece of furniture (an outdoor loveseat) that has succumbed to the elements and has rusted through. We placed it off to the side on the deck for safety reasons. Our annual family vacation to Lewes is something we look forward to. We are so happy to have your beautiful rental home as part of our family memories. Thank you for another great year. Pat H.

Great location for memorable vacation!

My husband, myself and our 3 teens stayed at this wonderful, clean, modern beach house this past week. It is in the perfect spot in Lewes, Delaware. Process was smooth, the owner was very helpful. There are so many cool spots to hang out in and outside of the house and a great table for us working on a puzzle. We loved the close proximity to the restaurants, shops and boats. Just a short walk to Savannah beach! We enjoyed a day on a chartered boat through Tide Runner Adventures (in and out from Angeler’s Pier). Absolutely loved our vacation here!!
