The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Please follow checklist in the house. Wash, dry and fold any linens such as pillow protectors, beach towels, dish towels and washcloths and bathmats for next guests,
Take all recycling and trash to the curb from house and garage.
Return house and garage to broom clean condition and turn off garage light, locking house and garage, securing all windows.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Renters agree to use bikes and kayak at their own risk and to hold the owners harmless for any personal injury. Condition of equipment not guaranteed.
Lewes charges a 5% tax on the nightly rents received. Delaware charges a 4.5% tax on nightly rents.
Tenant is shall leave the property in broom clean condition and is responsible to secure all windows and doors upon Departure.

This house was exactly as advertised - clean, comfortable, and well supplied. The screened porches were a highlight. A bonus was that my kids loved looking for crabs in the jetty near the beach on low tide, as well as walking along the sandbar. Would definitely stay again!

Great week with the family. House is perfect for us to gather in; lots of room to spread out and everything we needed for our nightly cooking events. Kids love that they can walk to the beach any time of the day. This was our second year staying here and look forward to coming back.

The pictures don't do this house justice! It was spacious, open, and had the best back porch. We spent most of our time out there while we were at the house. It was also so easy to get to the beach and go for a run down to Cape Henlopen State Park. Would absolutely recommend this to any group. Thank you for such a good stay!

Beautiful updated home that is great for family vacation.

The bedrooms are all spacious, the kitchen is gourmet and the walk to the beach is short. This is a perfect place for young children as the bay has very little waves and they can just walk right into the water. The property was clean, spacious and a perfect getaway.

Family vacation for 3 families

Such an amazing deal for a house so close to the water! Vacationing with 5 kiddos under 8 was a dream here. So many rooms and amenities to let everyone spread out and do what they wanted to relax and enjoy. Definitely will be booking again!

Had a wonderful family vacation at the Lewes and Clark beach house. Great location! Beautiful, comfortable home close to beach! Enjoyed many amenities... our favorite was using the kayaks and learning ocean kayaking.

Lewes Clark Beach House Stay 2024

Simply tremendous! House had everything we could have wanted and was in the best condition of any beach rental we have ever had. Property owners Mina and Greg were outstanding from before and throughout our stay. Bay was especially perfect for our grandchildren and just one block from the house. All 3 generations had a great vacation!

A wonderful return visit

This is our second time staying at the Lewes and Clark beach house. Our family (3 generations) loved its proximity to the beach and old town Lewes as well as how comfortable and well supplied the house was with amenities and entertainment. Perfect beach house

We found the house ready for us, and everything was as advertised. A spacious, open plan house with many nooks and spaces for reading, playing and napping. Loved the outdoor-access screened porch and the amazing proximity to the beach.

Perfect long weekend fall getaway!

This house is perfect for all ages. We had 5 adults and two children ages 2 & 4 and there was plenty of space for all. The house is clean and comfortable and feels like home. The location is perfect as we were minutes form the beach and a nice walk away from downtown Lewes. The owners are responsive and delightful to work with. We will definitely come back.

Fantastic Stay!

The house was very clean and the layout was ideal for our group (two couples and three singles). The kitchen/dining room/living room flow is perfect and I loved that the main TV was in a separate room. The screened in porch was lovely and I particularly enjoyed the small, private backyard where we had our coffee each morning. The proximity to the beach cannot be beat and as much as I love the restaurants and shops in Lewes, I ended up spending all of my time at the beach or the house. We will definitely return!

Family wedding stay

This venue provided an excellent place for an extended family to stay together for our daughter's wedding. We had plenty room to spread out and do our own thing or hang out together. House lived up to its advertising. It was also close to downtown and beach. Everyone was happy. Thanks for all the help. It took away one more thing to worry about. Told the local family members to recommend your place for visitors.

Our second wonderful stay at the Lewes and Clark Beach House - hoping for a third !

Perfect. House is spacious, nicely furnished, decorated and well provisioned. Plenty of room for everyone in our group of 8 which included 3 generations of family. We referred to it as "home" in no time! Enjoyed eating meals on the screened-in porch. A very short walk to a wonderful beach - chairs, games, beach toys available to borrow. Bikes too. Location is quiet and convenient to other places of interest - easy drive to the state park. The hosts were helpful, accommodating and communicative. We absolutely love everything about the place and are already talking about a return trip.

Our whole family totally enjoyed our stay at the Lewes and Clark beach house! We loved the screened patio which allowed us to enjoy the ocean breezes while protected by the screened windows. The bedding arrangement was a perfect match for my family and we were pleasantly surprised by all the utensils and beach chairs and toys that we were free to use. The house was spotless upon arrival so it was our goal to leave that way for the next guests. The only possible downside was the lack of TV sets which was a bit of a problem with 4 grandchildren looking for some entertainment. But that was only a minor issue and did not detract from our stay too much.
