Come see Island Star! This large 5 bedroom gulf view beach house is a marquee property. New private, heated pool! Several major renovations through 2020 have created a giant warm beach house experience. Walk into the sight of a cathedral ceiling living room with warm light from the gulf sky via gorgeous floor-to-ceiling windows on a 2-story wall. Bring family, friends, and man's best friend to this open floor plan with super convenient beach access. Descend either of the rear deck staircases, and a short walk puts you at the Gulf of Mexico. The master bedroom enjoys loft light through frosted windows facing the living room gulf view windows. Two large 1st-floor bedrooms enjoying gulf views and 2 bunk rooms for all the kids. Enjoy the large rear deck and let the sunset on your day with a drink in hand, the sites and sounds of salty waves, and the smell of grilled food.

This house includes WIFI, TV, private driveway, linens, and towels.

This property also includes an optional golf cart for an additional fee of $100/day (must rent for the entire stay). You will receive additional information regarding this option after you book your reservation.

Pool Heating Note: Pool temperature can vary during cooler months, as the system relies on outdoor air temperatures. In colder conditions (around 50°F), heating may be less effective or temporarily unavailable (45°F and below), and it can take up to 24 hours to reach the desired temperature when weather allows.

Please note:
1. Minimum Age for the Primary Renter is 25, and Primary Renter must be present for the entire stay.
2. Maximum Occupancy numbers include Children 3 and over and cannot be exceeded at any time.
3. All of our Homes are Non-Smoking.
4. A signed Rental Agreement is Required, which contains additional Rules and Guidance.
5. This property does not allow weddings or parties.
6. Check-in time is 3 pm, and check-out time is 10 am.
7. Start dishes and linens before departure.
8. Take the trash can to the street on Tuesday night and Friday night.
9. This home is pet-friendly with prior permission, 2 maximum limit. Only dogs approved by insurance policy. $100 per dog per stay pet fee. This is NOT included in the Airbnb quote and will be charged in addition to standard reservation charges, if applicable.

It is nice to have a short walk to the beach. There was a partial view of the gulf from the main rooms and the deck. Other houses blocked most of the view. The internet was unreliable and it was a rare evening when we could watch a streaming show for more than 30 min without interruption. Not suitable for working from this location. The deck furniture was awesome, and the main living area was well equipped. Kitchen left a lot to be desired, if you want to cook for guests at the property.The pool leaked and needed us to refill every few days. No repairs that we could detect for the 4 weeks we were there. Overall, if you are looking for a place for a large family fun weekend with pizza and takeout food, it is great. For long stays, it is quite challenging.

This home was very clean and located right on the beach. The home was unlike other vacation homes in that it had plenty of accommodations like towels, dishes, tolietry supplies, laundry/dish supplies, and even seasonings/coffee. Would 10 out of 10 recommend this property!

Great Beach House for family

This house was perfect for our family vacation. With 5 bedrooms & baths everyone had their own room & bathroom. The views from the deck were beautiful . The kitchen was fully stocked except for a blender but that wasn’t a big deal . Close enough to west end beach to walk. Felt secluded & non-touristy which is what we wanted. You do have to carry everything up 2 flights of stairs to get it inside but luckily we have younger grown up kids to help with that. Would stay here again.

We had a great time. The house was very spacious and nice. Loved the easy access to the beach! Plenty seating at the table and sofa for my whole family. A few minor things that I want to mention, Dead roaches on countertop and bathrooms. While i understand a lot of people fish there, the refrigerator and freezer smelled very fishy. We bought baking soda boxes and cleaning supplies. but not much help.All in all we had a fantastic time and would definitely stay again.

Dauphin Island is like going back in time to a simpler beachfront with sea shells washing ashore. The house is beautifully laid out and decorated. The pool could be warmer for winter months, but the deck is a great place to hear the waves and watch the sunset. Kitchen is furnished well, and living area is comfortable and roomy.

Relaxing Getaway

The accommodations were great for three adult couples plus a single. The 3 Master Bedrooms each have a king bed and their own bathroom. In fact all 5 rooms have their own bathroom. The heated pool was a hit and this is where we spent our afternoons. In the evenings, we watched the beautiful sunsets from the beach, just steps away from the house. October was a great time to be there. The weather was great and there were no crowds. I would recommend this house.

Loved this home! The layout was perfect for our three families. Step down onto the gulf beach, enjoyed the gulf views and sounds from the spacious deck. The pool was nice as an option also. Would only suggest a larger refrigerator.

Stay on the sand

This home was everything we expected and more! First, it was so clean, especially for a dog friendly property. It accommodated our large group so well, we loved the huge table for dinners and games and there was plenty of room for everyone. The location was quiet and the beach was practically private as you were on the West End of the island. We loved the bike lane outside and easy access to the beach. The pool was a huge hit for our kids and was shaded in the afternoons so it provided a good break from beach time. We would absolutely rent this property again!
