Frequently asked questions
About the host
Hosted by Karen Manning
My great uncle built this home as a summer cottage when he emigrated from Sweden in the 1940's. It became my family's summer home, and now belongs to my sister, brother and I. It has undergone several renovations to expand, update, and maximize the magnificent view of the Pettaquamscutt Lake and the Narrow River.
Why they chose this property
We have loved this property as a summer destination for 3 generations. We have cherished memories of boating, kayaking, birding, swimming, and cook outs, clam bakes, and cocktails overlooking the water. Come visit and create your own memories.
What makes this property unique
Bring your own boat or use our 2 kayaks and enjoy the private dock. The neighborhood beach is two houses away. Enjoy the beautiful view of nature from the living room panoramic windows. Kayak north to the estuary, or south to the Atlantic Ocean.
